Got to say, I was a bit disappointed. The biscuits were amazing. But I ordered the filet and was not impressed. Not a very good cut (lots of fat) and I ordered it medium and it was practically raw (and I love a little pink). My husband’s strip was good and the fries are not to be missed. For close to $200 total bill, it was a bit underwhelming. Better options in holland or grand haven. Cool atmosphere, good wine selection and great location, but need to do better to justify the price.I appreciate the quick and personal response. We will try again when we visit next month and look forward to updating!Parking: Easy parking all around the building, but this is April. I am sure in summer it is a little harder to come by.

Service was excellent. Waiter was attentive and did well. ordered the Cowboy Ribeye and the wedge. Wedge was excellent and believe the blue cheese dressing is house made at Finn's. Believe they need to drop the 'Chophouse" from the name. The Cowboy was less than 1/2" thick, chewy, and fatty. It came to the table and was in my estimation about 8-10 oz. Was thinking it would be more like a Cowboy you get at Bowdie's (Saugatuck & E Grand Rapids) or Chicago Chop House. It was more like Ponderosa. Ordered it medium rare, but it was so thin I doubt the chef could achieve that! Ambiance is fine and I will give it another try, but won't order a steak there again. Some in our party had two different chicken offerings and thought they were very good. The drinks were good and fairly priced although they do charge you for olives; it's only a buck, but for optics they should just raise the drink price a buck. Looks pretty silly for a restaurant trying to achieve a high end status to put a dollar charge on your bill for an olive!!

My husband and I had dinner here last night. Our service was great, chop salad was great, but the $70 cowboy steak was not. It was more like you would get at the ponderosa. We were very disappointed on the quality. It was thin, full of fat and grizzle. We have been to Bowdies in East Grand Rapids many times, and their steaks are much more superior for the same price.

I love Finn's, the atmosphere is wonderful, but was disappointed my last few times there with friends from out of town. I ordered their regular Burger, but didn't realize they changed it! I was disappointed regarding wanting their great burgers, but now they are doing two flat Smash Burgers on a bun, that I had a few weeks ago, and hated it. I guess it's the thing nowI asked if I could get their regular popular one, but they wouldn't do it. Please bring your regular burger back? It was incredible, and juicy. The Smash burger is dry and flavorless! The Shrimp appetizer was excellent, and so was the Wedge Salad. On my previous visit, the oyster appetizer had so much cornmeal on the oyster, that it was a dried up ball on the end of the skewer, and you couldn't taste it! Also, when you make a martini, please fill the glass, don't bring half full I hate to complain; which I did to the server, but just a sorry‍ Do reviews mean anything to the chef? I'm pretty easy to please, but when you pay these high prices, you expect to get quality food. The server was very good, and attentive. I gave 3 Stars only because they they stopped their great burger!

Always a pleasure to go to Finn's. The staff are great, the ambiance is lovely, the cocktails are top notch, and the food is amazing! Have been in many times, and stopped in tonight to try the new menu. They continue to impress! Love that we have this place in Spring Lake ?Dietary restrictions: Menu lists GF options

@Finns – THESE are my people. It’s been said that people do business with people they know, like, and trust. This review is proof of that sentiment. My husband and I relish our visits to Finn’s.  It’s hands-down our favorite restaurant in all of Michigan. In fact, if ever I’m asked what I want for Christmas, or where I want to go for my birthday, the answer is always the same—a Finn’s dinner or gift card!  Whether savoring a cocktail at the rooftop bar or dining inside (which served as the inspiration for our Whiskey room!), our experience with regard to both service and food is always exceptional. Classy and sophisticated, but without any pretentious attitudes. One especially impressive observation I made about Finn’s is their ability to retain employees. While I don’t know them all by name, it’s always a pleasure to see the same familiar faces time after time. With that, I recently reached out to the owners asking them what it is their employees value most about working there——Their co-workers? The pay? Their schedule?Roxy was kind enough to respond by sharing insight into their work culture. The part that struck me the most was how Finn prepares a family style meal for the entire team each night prior to opening. They take care of their own before serving others. Read.That.Again! Such a simple yet remarkable gesture that I think is overlooked by many an industry. The conversation and connections made over a dining table are priceless. This speaks volumes about the culture of a company which is precisely why we’ll be fans for life.Last time we were there, I jokingly suggested that they should have a “members only” club with access to certain specials. Tonight, they surprised us with these jackets. Finn’s hospitality and swag is second to none! THANK YOU for this unexpected treat! Just wait. These jackets are going to receive more exposure than you can imagine!?

The ambiance of Finn's is enough of a reason to visit, let alone the amazing food and service that you entertained with your entire stay. Great place for just a drink, and even better if you stay for dinner. I highly recommend and look forward to going back.

Best steak I've eaten out was at a Finns Great mouth feel, perfectly cooked, excellent crust, beef flavor was on point... amazing chimchurri. Cocktails were fabulous. Pleased with the bourbon selection. Shrimp were a lovely size and delicious. Beef tartare was good. I do love cured yolks... but for tartare raw egg your lends to the mouth feel and richness. So, while i enjoyed the tartar, I missed the yolk and it was not my favorite. Desserts were fun, delicious, silky, and dense... really beautiful. Service was above expectation. Friendly. Warm. Attentive. Beautiful and warm atmosphere l.

Impressive spot for Steaks in Spring Lake.We went in on a quiet winter Wednesday night to celebrate making it halfway through the week. We chose Finn's as it was one of few restaurants left in the Grand Haven/Spring Lake area that we haven't been to yet.If you're in the area and want a perfectly prepared piece of red meat, look no further. This is the place to go. If budget isn't an issue and you're looking to impress someone, this is the place to go. If you need to blast your tastebuds with an umami bomb, this is the spot for you.Steak Crostini for starters, and might have been the best single bite of the entire meal. Crispy bread, creamy aioli, crunchy onions and arugula for texture. It's everything you need in one bite. For steaks we got a NY Strip and a Ribeye, the cook was perfect, excellent grill flavor and super beefy. Exactly what you want in a steak. For sides we did potatoes, mushrooms and brussels. All the sides were good but the brussels were the winner overall, they were sweet and savory and the perfect pair to the giant steaks. We were so full we had to skip dessert, but we will be back to try more of the menu. Abby took care of us and had the perfect balance of attention and letting us enjoy our meals. Finn's has a great romantic atmosphere with its low lighting and tall private booths. You will surely enjoy your visit.

Finn's is exceptional! In 2019 I had a steak at Emeril Lagasse's in Las Vegas. It prompted me to learn to cook a better steak. Ever since that time I am constantly disappointed at steaks I order compared to what I make at home. Finn's is on par with the steak I experienced in Vegas, it was EXCELLENT!! The service was outstanding and the ambience was akin to the House of Cards in Nashville (food was better at Finn's!) All they are missing is a couple tables for Magicians and it would be perfect. A+++
