We test drove a car and saw this place Teds and thought to try. Nice atmosphere. Our server was ok. I odered a wet burrito with no onions and the mac n cheese. The burrito looked great.. it was just warm and it came with onions. It was not spicy and kind of bland. It looked better than tasted. Mac and cheese was a generous serving but tasted pretty basic and nothing fancy at all.. kraft almost as good.

This is a decent place to go in Spring Lake (not too far from I-96). Bar side and restaurant side (both nicely updated; bar side has TVs). Menu has a fairly large selection with gluten free or vegetarian options. Party tried salads; both of which were very large portions and tasty. Service was just OK (nothing exceptional). It’s a Plus that they have Coke products.

I walked in with my family to a sign stating “seat yourself on bar side” the bar side was full so we sat and waited for a table. Once one was available we waited for wait staff to clear table. This never happened. We were never even acknowledged by any employee. Finally we sat at the dirty table and consolidated everything to try and help. After waiting 10 more minutes and still not even being acknowledged or anything we got up and left. Unfortunately I can’t rate anything else due to this experience. I would expect Ted Fricano and team to do a better job than this. We used to frequent the restaurant often but after this experience we won’t be going back. Word of advice if there is more than 8 cars in the parking lot keep driving because they can’t handle it.

The food was excellent. The service not so much. The waitress took our order, someone else delivered the food. I have no issues with that. However, our waitress did not come back to check on us the entire time we ate. We could still see her, so it wasn't a shift change. Would have ordered more drinks ( beer and cocktail) and needed ketchup for my fries. The other waitresses near us were busy and as we were not their table I didn't bother them. Took forever to get the check, tracked our waitress down on the way back from the restroom. She the brought the check and apologized profusely. Took at least 15 minutes before another server realized ours hadn't come back to pick it up and offered to take care of it for us. I realize our waitress may have been busy in another section that we couldn't see but knowing she made us wait to get our check I had hoped she would have given us the courtesy of coming back for it. I still tipped more than 15%. But would've tipped more if she had actually paid some attention to us.

Used to come here everytime my fiancée and I came into town, but will probably not come back. Waitress was awesome, but burger I had was dry and had absolutely no flavor. Pricing is high for quality of food we got.

We only stopped for drinks. Our waitress was very aware of our drinks, and we never had to wait. The owner came out to chat with us, which was nice. The food being carried out to others looked and smelled good. We will be back for dinner!

Pleasant dining experience. A bit difficult to turn ones vehicles off of the freeway and into the parking lot.
