Have always loved El Taco and since we moved from wyndtree we havent had it as often.
Today my daughter ordered the birria pizza and oh my stars it was so delicious. We each had a piece and it filled us up just on the one!
Will be making this a weekly order from now on.
Thanks for such amazing food

I found this place on google and before trying it out, I read the reviews. Unfortunately this place is not made out to be what other reviews have said it to be. When I walked in, the cooks were eating for food and using their phones with gloves on. I placed my order and then watched the same cooks attempt to cook my food without changing gloves or even washing their hands. When I asked the boy who took my order to have the cooks wash their hands and exchange gloves while prepping my food, he responded, “No, you tell them, they’re the owners, it’s just food”. He continued to give me attitude as I tried to educate him on food safety and handling guidelines. I do not recommend this place.

Great food. I've lived many years in Texas and Phoenix and this food is very good.
This is souly a take out. It is inside a marathon gas station.

They must have changed ownership cuz the guy who took our order was rude to my dad and I had to step in and stop him from being disrespectful. My dad just asked a simple question about a combo, and he got very defensive.

Use to rave about this place, it had been a few years since my last visit, and the tacos are now more like Tex Mex than Mexican street tacos i remember. Was asked right away if I wanted supreme, declined and said no cheese, I wanted authentic street tacos with onion and cilantro. The steak looked more like ground beef and they put lettuce on them.
Maybe there has been a change in ownership or something, but I don’t think I’ll be back.

Used to rave about this place, but 1st time back in town in a couple of years. Steak tacos were more like Tex-Mex than authentic street tacos. Tasted OK, but steak was more like ground beef, and they put lettuce on them in addition to onion and cilantro. Not like it used to be, probably won’t be back.

Great place for an amazingly authentic Mexican, Home cooked style Meal. Homemade salsas and sauces. Delicious Tamales. Everything in the Menu is great! The Cheesecake is savory, fluffy and makes you want to eat more than one. Served in the perfect little portioned circle. The Ladies are super sweet! I would eat her every day!
Great quesadillas highly recommend a little pricey though

Family run business that's willing to work with you. They were super polite and even cooked me a few enchiladas at 6, when they closed. Really nice owner.
Very good food and they were fast.
Their food is amazing! Best chimichanga's ive probably ever had, and they are fast!
