There are many places to get ice cream in SCS, but Cathy’s is hands down the best. We pass up about 5 other ice cream places to go to Cathy’s because it’s that good. Every flavor they make is divine. The honey cinnamon in a homemade waffle cone is a long time favorite of mine. The seasonal pumpkin flavors for fall are a close second.

I love the butter peacan ice cream in a waffle cone but pay close attention if it matters to you, I have had to ask for the workers to put gloves on as they make my ice cream, every time, they take your money, don't wash hands,make your order,one guy was picking his nose, very unsanitary, is the only problem I have,they don't seem to care about making your order with dirty hands. Kinda pricey but that's OK if it's good.

Homemade soft serve frozen yogurt and ice cream in a variety of flavors. They also have frozen custard, slushies, and novelty treats. Very friendly.Bench swings, picnic table, and a long bench to sit on while enjoying your treat.

Always love coming here with my wife and kids. Not terrible prices and the portions for the ice cream are great! We love Cathy's for all our summertime treats!
An Inconsiderate manager or owner walked pass my friend and I without greeting us. We were sitting there eating the $19 ice cream cones. The girl who waited on us was extremely nice. We were there at 5:45-6:15 p.m. on Friday . The ice cream was pretty good but expensive. We will not be back due to the person who never greeted us.

I have been a plant based Vegan for about nine years & am careful about treats.Cathy’s ice cream is a refreshing welcome to an occasional vegan option.I believe I reviewed eleven vegan flavors!Theirs is a whipped type vegan ice cream that tastes wonderful & the sugar content it is minimal if you compare it to the local competition.The ice cream is homemade as well with other optional food choices from the menu.Do not pass this local neighborhood gem by because you will not be disappointed.

We really wanted an ice cream treat last Sunday, but as we were in line a huge storm came through. We had to run to the car and just barely made it before the rain and wind hit. We missed out on our favorite ice cream that day, but we always go to "Cathy's" and are never disappointed! Nice selection, good prices, great taste, and they treat everyone like family!

The custard is delicious and made me never want to get icecream anywhere else again. I drive 2 cities away just to come here. One time my son even dropped his cone and I tried to buy a new one but they didn’t accept the money when they replaced it so I left it as a tip.
