Our family hosted a retirement party over the weekend for around 50 people and the Copper Hops event space was the perfect venue. Not only is the space beautiful, but they were very accommodating to any changes to the layout and our bartender was great! 10 out of 10 would highly recommend! Thank You Copper Hop!
Great rotating beer selection. Friendly staff. They even played my requested sports game when I asked.
Will definitely make this my neighborhood bar.
Gorgeous Brewery with huge seating areas indoor/outdoor patio. I love the coppertop bars & walls and beautiful mugs adorning the location. The options are simple and alil bit of everything. The standout beer was Hop Circles IPA, and it seems like hard ciders are the local fan favorites. I'd like to see more options and a big BA stout! ? worth the stop overall, but beer snobs might be found wanting! Look forward to visiting again
This place is nice! Very nice rustic cabin like decor. This drinks and brews are very good. I actually really like this place. The only reason i give it 3 stars is because I REALLY dislike the music. I dont think it fits the vibe at all. I actually sometimes wont come here on some nights because I dont wanna listen to the music. Thats the only reason. Its like trendy bar music. Please update the playlist please. Like to country, new country, indie music or anything else. or even no music please.
Other than that, drinks 10/10.
The Copper Hop is great. My wife and I have been going here for over two years and have only had great experiences. The staff is friendly, the beer is good and they have food trucks all the time. They also allow dogs on the patio which has been great. Additionally we were both part of the Mug club which if you are a frequent visitor, we would highly recommend joining!
Metro Detroit Brewery Discovery Tour stop # 29 (?).
I like this place. The vibe is cool, relaxing. The main space is large with two separate outdoor seating areas. The south-facing area has several umbrellas for shade plus a covered area for less clement weather, I assume. The east-facing area is smaller but completely covered and has a heater to boost itsusuable time. 3 garage doors make the 2 sides & indoors one big space under the right conditions. Then there is the other side. Accessed thru a door, it has its own outside space as well, also on the east side, also with a garage door. (Both spaces face Greater Mack for the directionally challenged.)
The bar is big, spanning two sides of the indoor space.
For those in wheelchairs, the access from the huge rear parking area is easy. The lot is smooth, the interior floor is, as well. The only bump, literally, is the threshold and it's only about 1/2". Relatively smooth sailing, I venture.
The music is a touch too loud with 10 people here on a Saturday afternoon. Good, but loud. Once more people arrived, say 25, the ambient noise got off the scale and the music is almost indiscernable. Despite the mid-80s temperature, I had to retreat to the quieter outside to avoid an impending headache.
The beer is solid though of the six I had none were actual standouts.
No food truck seen. But there are several restaurants close by.
Cider is great!
Copper Hop was absolutely such a perfect place for my daughter’s baby shower! Lauren my hostess, Ryan my contact for planning were both the best.
With The brewery next door that
has great atmosphere?
Very pleasant atmosphere, clean, and personable employees. Thier product was cold and delicious
As a founding member, how can I not love this place and be happy for their ongoing success? They always have a great variety of styles and nice blend of new styles with old favorites. We came tonight for the food truck, Phat Rob's, which didn't disappoint. As we sit outside enjoying the weather, we are tempted to stroll across the street for a nightcap at Caché

Great selection Das Hefe is best. Steal my sunshine isn't that good.
We love everything about Copper Hop! Especially Jay-he’s the best!
Good beer, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Saw the Orbitsuns play an acoustic set one night. Nice setup for a small show.
I've been to Copper Hop 7 times. I get there atleast an hour before their posted closing hour. I've had beer here 4 times. The other 3, they locked the doors or closed early. The beer and wine are good. But, it doesn't matter if I can't get in during posted hours.Given all the other breweries in the area that know how a clock works, I'll give them my money. See you at Baffin, Someday or Jamex.
This is my favorite brewery in Michigan, and I’ve been to quite a few! Their IPAs are some of the best I’ve ever had… but I’m campaigning to bring back Lost City of Haze, which is probably my favorite beer of all time!
