The food is always hot and good. But when you are told 30 minutes for your food to be ready and it’s more like 50 minutes. We order food to bring to our Moms at 3:15 as we were driving on 94 and was told 30 minutes and we needed to be at Moms by 3:45 and got there at 4:00. We only order potstickers & 2 egg rolls and soup and beef , mushrooms fried rice. Use to take 15-20 minutes. Now more like 45 to 50 minutes. Just don’t be in a hurry.

Please be aware the prices on the online menu are not accurate! We called in an order and they charge us double the prices listed online plus a debit card fee. We did not enjoy the food unfortunately. There was a 45 minute wait for a carry out order.

Food was great but you have to do something up front you're too busy you need to socialize with your customers you'll never make it I'm a restaurant owner myself I'm just trying to tell you you got to talk to your customers if you don't have no help find some of you will not make it
My family and I have been coming to Gim Ling’s for more than a decade. I have never once had a bad meal from them! Everything we have gotten has been delicious and we try to recommend them to everyone we know.
Josie is such a kind person and is extremely patient. Over the past decade we have witnessed a lot of customers get angry at them for the wait. Josie handles it extremely well!
Please be kind the employees here. Sure, some days will have a longer wait than others. Sometimes they mess up and are overwhelmed, but what about those days that they absolutely kill it? They’re human and they deserve respect and kindness.
They’re doing their best and have a great menu, friendly service, and are always consistent.

So Gim Ling is good, if you're willing to wait in excess of an hour and a half for.your carry out. They have no system for fulfilling orders more than one at a time. There are other places, Wong's Garden, that have better service, are dine in, and serve pretty good food. So if/when you order and the owner says 45 minutes be prepared to wait much longer.
Update: ordered 2 combos at 5:30, 7:15 still waiting......

Everything i got was great. The dumplings were thin dough and lots of filling, the rice was perfect and the sauce for the General Tsos was on point. I will definitely be coming back.

I came away very impressed. The restaurant is very clean and nice inside. The chicken fried rice is honestly the best around, but what is most impressive is the lady they have taking the carry out orders and working the front. Very very good customer service. I now drive 20 min away whenever I want Chinese food.

This used to be the best Chinese food around a few years ago. Now, it's horrible. The last time I ordered from there, the Almond Chicken gravy was watery, the Egg Drop Soup was worse than a can of Swanson, their egg rolls are cabbage and NOT authentic, and they don't have lunch size portions. The original owners would be extremely disappointed in seeing the business they built go downhill in such a fashion. So sad.

Awesome food here! The woman that owns this place is a great cook and she’s very professional. She’s kind to my kid and she gives her cookies!!! Very fresh dinner prepared each time I’ve been here.

This place used to be amazing. A lifelong staple up until the last few years. Went a long time without eating because it went downhill, but decided to try it again today.
The quality of ingredients is obviously subpar, and the cook and flavor of the food is bad. They charge a little more than some other places, but wouldn’t pay highly affordable pricing for this.
Chicken tasted old and frankly under cooked. Egg drop soup was meh, crackers were weird. Sweet and sour sauce tasted pretty bad and flavor was dominated by green pepper. Rice was very dry.
Unfortunately, our families comments after dinner was “well it’s been awhile, and now we know.”

They have true well cooked authentic Chinese cuisine. Unfortunately it's carry out only with the inside of the restaurant is beautiful. Call first because everyone and Joe's cousin goes here for carry out.
Once you order one for you'll be back.
Had to wait for over 2 hours.. 3rd time in a row.
How do you do a carry out when they never answer the phone
Your hours are confusing behind belive. Your door and online says open at 1. Your website says 12. I've called and went there no one was there fix this issue.
I just left from up there and the older Chinese lady that speak very fast got mad @ me because I was talking fast.
She asked me to slow down and I told her usually wen people speak fast the can listen fast also.
Extra green oinons=$2.50×2
Extra shrimp=$7.00
I'm NEVER going back!
Then she thought her telling me the green onions are organic, idgaf what they are and who asked u to buy organic? Everybody don't like or eat organic!
