Love the nostalgia of this long time family owned business in The Shores. I appreciate the variety and sugar free and dairy free options available. Upon every visit I have had over the many years, the owner and staff has been very friendly and as sweet, if not sweeter than the ice cream! I’ve even witnessed them deal with a customer that has been rude and obnoxious. Kudos to the staff calmly handling the situation with kindness and patience. I sympathize with anyone in the service...

I have seen a lot of ice cream shops use one manufacture for there flavors.
When I asked why he doesn't just go through one manufacture he said he only uses the best flavors of all different kinds.

Serving Ashby's finest ice cream, what I'll remember most is the great customer service and conversation had with the man behind the counter. Great wall pieces too, give them a look while pacing around. If visiting around Christmas, check out the free Tunnel of Lights at Blossom Heath Park a couple minutes away.
