The lobster roll is very good, either way you order it. The shrimp were also very good as are the soups. Service is friendly, casual and comfortable. I wish it were open year round!

I went to Mike's on the water the last day they were open for the season, which was November 26, 2023, I also went with friends there, 3 of us had the end of there season special which was a hamburger, fries, and a pop for $8, we all enjoyed our food, it was cooked to perfection, the waitress was very friendly, they also had a beautiful Christmas tree there

Our Waitress was FRIENDLY and informative. The menu was VERY LIMITED for being on the Nautical Mile, most of it wasn't standard fare, most being fast foodish/ fried, etc. I ordered the RAINBOW TROUT & wasn't too pleased as it wasn't really seasoned at all, VERY BLAND. The Artichoke dip was VERY GOOD , however ! Any restaurant on the water on Jefferson should have a much more broader menu and tastier & healthy food, because they are not cheap !

The main reason I am giving 4 stars is because of the ambiance. The outdoor seating makes you feel like you are somewhere tropical. The drinks are really good. The food is decent. If I'm going to Mikes on the water it's because of the drinks and outdoor atmosphere, not the food. Service is always great.

My girlfriend found this place while we were in Detroit over the weekend. We both loved it. The clam chowder is the best I have ever had and their $8 shrimp cocktail was delicious. My girlfriend had the rainbow trout and thought it was great. I had the fried shrimp which were perfectly golden brown. The tots and fries were top-notch, as well. Our waitress, Carol, was delightful. She talked to us like we were regulars and we enjoyed her great vibe. Highly recommended ?

Nice, quaint spot for a bite to eat and a drink. Good food and reasonable prices. Not the fastest service, but you're not coming for dine 'n dash! Seafood and non seafood options. Dishes for kids, too. It's a great place! Mike is opening a bigger space soon for banquets and parties. He does a lot for charities in the area. Great place to support!Parking: Free parking or during season, use your boat!
I always love Mikes. The pretzels are so tasty and my fish covers the entire plate and is yummy . Making sure I get there one more time before the season is over.

My wife and I went to Mike's on Friday October the 6th. We sat inside with a dock view. The table had been wiped but there were still crumbs splattered all over the table. The waitress was friendly, however she could not tell us the daily specials or what types of salad dressing other than Ranch and Italian.I order the coconut shrimp and my wife ordered the fried shrimp. They were HORRIBLE!! There was no taste other then very deep fried. We left with both of us only eating 2-3 shrimp of the serving. Would not recommend to anyone.
