Got a vegitarian cachapa and domino and plantain. First time for my husband to have Venezuelan food and he kept raving how great everything was. Before I ordered he kept telling me he didn't like plantains. He was surprised how sweet these were. I have had Venezuelan food before and Papelon's is great.

It was my first time here and my first time having Venezuelan food. I not only enjoyed the staff and atmosphere but the food as well. I had a chicken puff pastry item (I don’t remember the name) and churros and both were fantastic. The prices were great and you got plenty for what you paid. The parking was close and free. It’s really worth checking out whether you like South America food or you just like trying different types of food.
Vegetarian options: There were pretty much vegetarian options of almost everything.
Dietary restrictions: They have meat, poultry, and vegetables dishes as well as desserts.
Parking: Parking directly out front, free, and very walkable no matter where you park.
Kid-friendliness: It’s not necessarily “kid friendly” in the sense of being a place specifically for kids, but kids are welcome I’m sure.

Best food truck in the area !! I just ordered an empanada and cachapa from them through DoorDash and had to order twice because the initial order was never delivered. I think they may have realized this when they saw my order come through again because they also threw in some tequeños and upgraded the cachapa for free🫶 super sweet of them, and it really made my night especially after an exhausting shift at work. And all of the food was on point, as usual🙂 Thanks, you guys!!

This truck was parked at the Oak Park Film Festival so I thought I would try give it a try and I’m so glad I did. I’ve never had Venezuelan food before so the man at the window gave me lots of help to figure out what to get.The wait was about 10 mins which was worth it because everything was fresh. I tried the Queen fried and my friend had the Sifrina grilled. Everything was SO YUM! Including the churros Venezuelan style which I highly recommend.

A decent amount of vegan/ vegetarian options too. Food truck provides the food & you order inside. Worth the stop, check it out!

Holy moly! I’m picky with food. Picky, picky, picky! I had an arepa and it was nothing like I’ve ever had before. So tasty and the plantain made it sweet, as well as savory.
The owner was so friendly, as was all the staff.
The matcha iced tea was quite “earthy,” and so tasty!
Note: My husband and I are going back there for lunch tomorrow AND WE LIVE NEAR PORT HURON!
