Wanted to go here since I moved into the area. Went yesterday night (Friday 3/8). There was wait time so I sat at the bar. I had the fajitas, and let me tell you, they're better than some Mexican restaurants. So the food was great. I also ordered the spinach & artichoke dip.For a first time going here, though I was impressed by the food, I wasn't impressed with my experience, and I eat out A LOT, so I'm gonna nitpick. *Owners, pls read below.- For the $47 I spent, I would've expected a better overall experience. (Order: Fajitas, dip, 1 beer, 1 Arnold palmer. Includes $7 tip.)- Idk if they forgot about it or what, but it took nearly an hour for that S&A dip to come out, and by that time I had nearly finished my fajitas. It was delicious, but came out an hour late, which was frustrating to say the least since it's an app.- To top it off, my last bite into the fajita revealed a small sharp metal shaving that thankfully poke me. I handed that to one of the shorter female bartenders.- The lanky bartender gal that was my initial tender didn't come over to see how the meal was or if I was overall doing well. Though she did put in work, she was also on her phone a majority of the time and not conversing with customers.I'll be coming back eventually, but definitely not sitting at the bar again. Hopefully take 2 results in a better experience.
This is a popular spot. Of course it will be busy on a weekend. Got there early yesterday. We had fish & chips and steak fajitas. Was good, but some let the pepper slip into the batter. I don't have problem with heat, but some of the clientele would here. Our waitress seemed to be quite stressed. She did her job, don't think she'll be here long. Drinks were inconsistent. First Old Fashion was made correct. Second was not. As always, I appreciate their French Onion soup.
