No more buffet. 😕

Used to really enjoy their buffet, but they say they're not offering it anymore. Sorry to say, but that kinda removes my reason for coming here.

This was my first time ordering from here. I ordered take-out. I ordered the chili chicken and Paratha. Paratha is a flaky buttery bread fried in ghee. I waited almost an hour for my food. The food was disappointing and disgusting. They gave me some nasty bread that was not paratha. The bread was not even close to being paratha after he asked me twice what I ordered. He then told me “ yes, I can make paratha for you” I even showed him the menu online. I usually go to Deshi kitchen Indian cuisine 43095 Hayes Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48313 because they have the BEST paratha and tandoori chicken that I have ever had ✨ but I wanted to try this new place Spice Bowl Indian Grill for the first time because it’s closer to home. The guy lied and said he could make paratha, I waited a hour just to end up throwing my whole order in the trash!! Terrible !!

My first time ordering Spicebowl today and I enjoyed it so much! The Lamb Karahi is fantastic! Super tender lamb! I like it Hot and they prepared it wonderfully spicy for me! The Garlic Naan is glorious! I used to only go to Madina, but now Spicebowl might be my favorite! I will be dining in next time!

We have been ordering takeout from here for a while. Their butter chicken is usually my favorite!!! I ordered butter chicken (mild spice) yesterday and when my husband got home with it my mouth was WATERING with anticipation…until I took a bite and it was farrrrrr too spicy. I could only eat 3 bites until I was done. Unfortunately, I don’t know if we will ever frequent this restaurant again. 😞

Came here with a Groupon on a Saturday afternoon. We were the only people in the building and had the slowest service ever. The waiter sat us and never came to ask us what we wanted to drink. We had to ask. Food tasted terrible. The chutneys and samosas had a sour taste as if they were old. We left before our entrees even came. As an Indian, I can vouch that this is not an authentic Indian cuisine experience.

I no longer live in the Detroit area. Been looking for vegan options. They were so helpful in assisting me. Food is great. I will definitely be back when I’m back in town!

I was disappointed with the freshness of the food. It seemed like it had been prepared a couple of days before, even though I waited as if it was being made on the spot. I’m pretty familiar with food and didn’t just discover it. Friendly staff though.

Everything was fresh, made to order, ready super fast. Loved every part of my meal, (for sure don’t skip on the mango lassi)! And the staff were amazing and so kind. Will 100% be back!

Food was good, but we were the only people in the restaurant. Ordered naan, rice, chicken tikka masala, and lamb tikka masala. The chicken tikka masala seemed like it may have been butter chicken, but either way it was still good. There were a lot of carry out orders while we were sitting there, so next time we plan on doing carry out instead.

Horrible service. Disgusting place, bathrooms are trashed (at least the mens) literally the only customer and waited 30 minutes for Luke warm/ crappy food.
