The original! I love their subs. I wish I could get them in Florida. The staff is nice and professional. What is totally stupid is that I can't tip using my card!

This location has good subs, although they have mess up my order a few times (about 1 in 9 visits). The space is very small making iy hard to move around inside the shop. They also are always playing Christian music, which as someone that has had a few bad experiences with the church makes me a bit uncomfortable.

One slice of cheese is thicker than all the meat on a famous combined this location used to be great now its literally a rip off the owner must be broke. Ill go to a different location from now on never coming back to this location wish I could give negative stars not even gong to call and complain. You have been warned...11$ for bread can not even taste the meat ....real score negative 5 stars never to return

Just ordered and picked up a 12in Tubbys Famous and a fry. This has to be the best Tubbys Famous Sub I have ever had.

I believe this is the first tubby submarine and I can see why they became a chain. Here you get good food good service and big smiles. They do need to re-decorate.

Went to get a couple subs on a Monday. Place was empty no rush. I ordered the Tubbys famous and my wife got the Turkey club. They asked if we wanted them toasted and we said yes. We paid for them and left. We only live about a mile and a half away. When we got home and opened them we couldn't believe it, the buns were so small they resembled large hot dog buns. The buns weren't crispy at all, my sub was supposed to have 2 kinds of salami, ham, and cheese along with lettuce and tomatoes. I could see two types of meat and no cheese. The sub was a slimy mess. My wife's was even worse we could not find the turkey and it was a slimy as well. We threw them in the trash. 30 dollars for nothing. We ended up going to New York deli. We will never go there again.

There is nothing like Tubby's steak and cheese. A true Detroit classic.

Listen, I understand everything is more expensive these days.. but 3 slices of meat on an entire sub is ridiculous. Charge more if you have too, I’ve always loved tubbys but nobody wants to eat basically bread with sauce.

I've been eating Tubby's since I was a kid. It's been a few months since I had a sub from there and I just had a craving. Unfortunately it'll be my last time I choose Tubby's. The large classic at $13+ tax had so little meat in it that it looked like a grilled cheese. The steak and cheese with a price tag of $15+ tax had about the same amount of meet that my wife's small sub had in it. I understand that prices go up but the quality doesn't need to go down.
