Everything was great except when we got the receipt. We were not informed that there would be a surcharge for using a credit card. Had we been told this, we would have paid cash! I find places that do that are despicable and will not return!

I must have caught them on an off day. How have they received 4.7 stars? Soup-bland, bread was so thin that after they toasted it, smashed it together to cut it, that the sandwich was like eating bland meat between 2 crackers. The pickle was more like a slice of cucumber… no pickling spice or flavor at all. I don’t get it the high rating ?‍♂️Atmosphere was awesome…. It has that going for it.

Uncle Harry’s is the best deli on the East Side of metro Detroit with amazing deli food. It alsoHas style: photos of Harry and his family and famous visitors are all over. My favorite is the Donna (corned beef, pastrami, Swiss cheese and Russian dressing). Also love the pickles and the soup.
