The panko breaded perch with the Hawaiian salad was excellent. I love the spaced out relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy a private conversation. Service was spot on. I also like a restaurant that serves rolls or bread that is specially made served right after you sit down. Nice job.

Around Christmastime 2023 my husband and I took a car ride up Jefferson Ave to see the lights and stopped in at Waves. Beautifully decorated, outstanding service and delicious food. We came again and brought our daughter and granddaughter they loved it just as much. Came for my granddaughters 12 th birthday had 16 guests. Made reservations a couple weeks prior and we were afraid it would be too busy because it was Good Friday. Let me tell you service was impeccable. Our waitress was nothing short of amazing. So attentive and forgot nothing. Food came out all at the same time from steaks, seafood pasta, salads, kids menus meals, appetizers drink refills they nailed it ! This was my granddaughter's choice and everyone had a great time. Thank you so much Waves !

Our food was delicious, and the seafood stew WOW so delicious. We also had coconut shrimp with the plum sauce, and I had fish and chips, all very delicious. Our waitress was exceptionally attentive. Thank you for an enjoyable night.

Attended a baby shower there. Friendly and clean. Waitresses were excellent, never wanting for anything. The food was great can't say enough of how good it was. I even purchased a bottle of their salad dressing. Can't wait to go back just for dinner.

Gordon Ramsey needs to visit this restaurant and help them out. We ate there for dinner tonight (4 of us), and each entree was disappointing. I had to send my crab cakes back, because they were almost like pâté, not light and fluffy like a crab cake should be. You can see and taste where corners have been cut with every dish. The only thing that we all agreed was delicious was the mashed sweet potatoes. Otherwise, the quality is just not there. We have given this place a chance 3 times in the past 6 months, and they have struck out. We won't be coming back again, which is unfortunate, because this place could be a goldmine. The wait staff deserves better, because it's not their fault. It's the fault of the chef and the owner.

Waves is 60/40. Almost the luck of the draw. You go on a good night, and it may be the best restaurant on The Mile. But on average to bad nights, you'll wonder how this place has made it over 20 years.They do have a fun menu. The crab dip and coconut shrimp are staples and are usually delicious. The ceasar salad is usually a solid choice.The bar is a shot and beer bar, the ole fashioneds aren't very well preparedI think The Waves is always worth a shot.
Horrible experience, I will never return here. Came with a party of 4 and had issues from the start. Forgot one of our appetizers, server was very inattentive, never once asked if I needed a refill or cleared our table of dirty dishes. We had a quality issue with one of our meals, and instead of being helped, we were literally confronted by the manager. Ultimately they comped our entire bill but what else could they do because we barely ate the food. I would have much rather have had a good experience instead of a discount. Very unfortunate.
