I can see the food looks great but we did not have time to stay and wait maybe another time
Heard a lot about this spot and it did not disappoint. Staff was very friendly, service was great. I had the chicken fried steak and it was amazing. Country gravy was great and there was a wonderful crunch on the steak. Melt in your mouth steak. My husband had the hot beef. It wasn't the most tender meat we have ever had, but it was very good. He loved the Cole slaw, and he is very picky about his Cole slaw. Mashed potatoes were made with real potatoes and the brown gravy was delicious. Portions are very large and prices were good. We will be going back to try the prime rib and desert.

Came in for a Saturday lunch. Ordered our meals (4 adult/1 kid). Service was very slow taking at least 30 minutes to arrive while others came in sooner and had food before us.
Ordered “jumbo” shrimp basket with sweet potato fries and coleslaw. Shrimp were not jumbo, but average to medium size. Wait staff could not find cocktail sauce, and when they did, it the consistency was comparable to that of butter and not a proper sauce. Had to add ketchup just to loosen it.
Wheelchair accessibility: Entry is barrier free: Space can be tight to maneuver a wheelchair in, but my wife made it work with a power wheelchair. Bathrooms are small (5’ x 3’ MAYBE) - a wheelchair will NOT fit whatsoever. Bathrooms are without grab bars.

Good home style cooking.
Parking: Dirt parking all the way around the building.
Kid-friendliness: There is no reason not to bring your kids
Wheelchair accessibility: Saw a lady wheel out. As a parent with a child that is in a chair part time. This is important to me.

I had breakfast here. They have exactly what you are expecting for breakfast. Great food. Highly recommended, if you are taking M-66 on your way up north.

Small diner right of M-66. Had their breakfast buffet, which had a decent selection at a decent price. For a good, no frills meal, stop on in.
Kid-friendliness: There are good options on the menu for the kiddos and coloring books to keep them occupied. They even have a little book shelf stocked by the local library that kids can select a book to take home!
