The only thing I can say is when you bring your children to a establishment you DO NOT LET THEM RUN AROUND THE PLACE LIKE ITS YOUR HOUSE!!! . I didn't go to McDonald's and I know the parents herd about me saying something.

Off of 41 in Stephenson, we came upon an "Out in the middle of nowhere & a local favorite" restaurant. We were a bit put off because of the amount of vehicles there (a lot!), My wife went in to see how long the wait would be. She came out and said that the dining room was nearly empty. The Bar area was where most of the people were. Super Yooperized dining room!! The large paper (that came from a big roll on the wall) table covering was fun and a great idea. Crayons would've been a plus! There is a great selection of food and the prices were really nice, we even had dessert! Everything that we ordered was wonderful. Peggy, the owner, was also our server. The Veteran's discount was very generous, 20% I think. Overall, I highly recommend giving them a visit, you'll be quite satisfied.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of parking all around the building. A few kids came in with their parents to eat. The atmosphere was really chill, no crazy rowdiness happening.
