Food and service were good. One issue we had at this location is there should never be large groups standing around other guests tables management should try to keep large groups at or around their own tables, nobody wants to eat dinner with their family surrounded buy random people.

Some things are a miss, but mostly everything is pretty good. I really enjoyed their Quesadillas, Chicken Alfredo, and Club Sandwich. The service is always great as well. If you like Alfredo I highly suggest trying it! These are pictures of food from me and my mom’s birthday party we had there.

Positives: This food has not let me down, this time I got the bang bang shrimp, and the filet pasta. I have not had a bad waitress any of the many times I've came here, as they've always been attentive and helpful when needed, though the last time they didn't come to my table after I received my food, until I was ready to go. (Not the biggest issue with me , besides not getting more water. She was kind, but it should be noted.)Cons: The greeters. Once I walked in the resturant I was not greeted, as the person was watching TV. Once I said something they waited, to see what it was I would say, then they sent me to my table. Once at my table, with a dirty chair that I noticed after, I was asked if the spot was acceptable and then they walked away. This is being placed as a con, because it's happened a few times, however the last time has prompted me to leave this review.Overall: it's a great place to visit and eat. It's a little more expensive than most places, but with this economy everything is. If it's your first time coming here you won't be disappointed. The cons that I provided aren't everytime occurrences.

First time, in a long time. Found a nice little booth & met our friendly waitress in no time. The reason for today’s visit was the half off apps from 2-5. We wanted to load the table with everything that sounded good.Saganaki …… beautifully flamed, but no “Opahhhhh” to be heard. Would definitely order again.Pretzels with Queso, don’t mind if I do! Almost as good as BobCat Bonnie’s Everything Seasoned Pretzels. I will get these again for sure.Cheese curds, perfectly fried & well seasoned. What a perfect way to get some ranch on the table, I mean, come on, it’s Macomb County.Burnt Ends were crispy, the fat was rendered well, great sauce. Had to stop myself from eating all the toast points, buttery & crunchy, I didn’t wanna put them down.Filet bites were ok. I don’t wanna nit pick, but the steak wasn’t really seared or grilled, just kinda simmered in sauce. We both felt the steak could use some salt/or seasoning. Ironically enough, the sauce, which is usually salty was very good, with sauteed mushrooms added.Only Appetizer I didn’t care for was the pot stickers, not very photogenic & the flavor was a miss for me.Service was spot on, food was beautiful looking, and you can tell a lot of pride goes into the food presentation & execution here at Art & Jakes.
