My recent experience at Bistro Orleans was a flavorful journey into Cajun cuisine. The cajun food was authentically seasoned and bursting with Louisiana flavors. The cozy atmosphere added to the overall dining ambiance.

Called here because I found out they make beignets. I have a party coming up and am still unsure of how many I will need but I wanted to write this review to be able to inform others about their beignets because they are special order, minimum 24 hrs notice $3 each / $36 dozen. I was stoked to find out. Both people I spoke to on the phone were very helpful and I appreciated that! I hope others can enjoy the beignets too!

I had the pasta Andrea , it looked delicious but it was VERY SALTY so I couldn’t really eat it..and I was disappointed that they used imitation crab meat. There was also sliced cheese in the macaroni and cheese ?. I really wanted to like this place. On a better note the fried catfish was good.

Charming, great food, and wonderfully friendly service! My family's experience here was nothing but positive. The place is laid-back and relaxed, which really adds to the experience I associate with the food provided. Speaking of the food, it was amazing! We got the gumbo, which was the perfect spice level and had tender sausage with a warm, comforting broth. The cornbread wasn't too bad either, albeit slightly dry. To add on, the service was kind and helpful, with the familial charm that brings this place together. I strongly suggest it to anyone looking for a nice place to grab a bite!

This was some good gumbo. You can't tell someone what to put in their gumbo, but you can tell them how good it was. This was GOOD. FULL of seafood and all the rest of the good stuff. Friendly staff!

Very disappointing! The greens are definitely canned, the red beans and rice had a very strong vinegar taste, and the mac and cheese SMH I don't even have words for that? If you want the real deal louisiana style dining Gumbo's in Mt Clemens is where it's at!!!

The food is so damn good. The hush puppies are homemade and authentic. The fish is fried in cornmeal the way fish should be: crunchy, and the sweet tea is reminds me of my grandmother.Again it's so good.

Very disappointed. I had the short ribs and they were dry, flavorless, and tasted expired. Ordered wings too and they were BEAUTIFUL, had a good crunch- problem, the meat once again had a sour expired meat taste. Mac and cheese was literally just noodles, water, and velveeta, and the greens were clearly canned glory greens (I like glory greens actually but don’t expect to be served them in a Louisiana restaurant). The “smoked” ribs were edible but clearly boiled. And not one thing was seasoned! It’s Messed up because I really wanted to like it!
