We come here a couple times a month just because we like it so much! The food is great and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend the spicy sundubu, dolsot bibimbap, and of course the side dishes!

As a frequent traveler for work throughout different states in the US, I always find myself craving Korean food, which brings me comfort while I am away from my house. Generally, I have been able to find high-quality and authentic Korean restaurants, although they've been elusive in some areas or states. Finally, I discovered Chung Ki Wa in Michigan. I've brought clients and friends there for numerous meals. Every visit has been worthwhile, and the restaurant offers a private area where I've been able to host my clients for an elevated dining experience and private conversations. If you're looking to experience authentic and high-quality Korean cuisine, similar to that of well-known Korean restaurants in NY, NJ, or LA, Chung Ki Wa is the place to visit

Best Korean food and best value. We’ve been to Dae Jang Keum (Troy) and Daebak (Southfield). The flavor is better at Chung Ki Wa. We had Japchae, Kimchi Pancakes and Eel Bibimbap - all fresh and flavorful. Attentive waitstaff and nice atmosphere.

I barely leave reviews, but. really wante to. I love this restaurant. Food is delicious and generous amount, nice staff and inside is clean and neat. There is nothing to complaint about, I got to-go today and soup was to the top of container, and also had side dishes packed nicely along with bulgogi I ordered, Owner is so kind as well, pleasant place to enjoy real korean food, Thank you for yummy food with reasonable price and generous portion!

The galbitang had too much pepper and it turned into pepper soup, and the sundae soup had a very fishy pork smell. The chicken was too salty and the sauce itself was tasteless, so I carefully told the owner, but he answered that it was the sauce that was always made the way it was made and that it was “the way it was”, which was embarrassing as a customer.

Still, the tray jjajang and yukhoe bibimbap are so delicious!

Super filling meal! Everything came out really fast and hot! Place was clean and the staff were friendly, would have liked a refill on the water, but otherwise excellent service. We will definitely be back!

Chung Ki Wa is my family's go-to Korean restaurant. They have everything from Kbbq to traditional Korean and Chinese dishes. The free side dishes are always a plus. They've also added a new menu for added variety. I recommend the Soybean Paste Hotpot and Spicy Cold Noodle for 2 for larger groups. Both dishes could easily feed at least 3 people. I also recommend the Dinner Combo with your choice of cold noodles or spicy tofu soup and a meat dish (bulgogi, galbi, or mackrel). The staff are also always so welcoming! Highly recommend :)
