Ichiban Japanese Bistro

AMAZING. Went here for my anniversary and I was so happy with everything about our dinner. Food was amazing, service was OUTSTANDING (Cole was our server. His so so so nice and funny!! He was extremely quick to get everything we need and checked on us often. Best server I’ve ever had at any restaurant! We need more servers like him in the world!!). We got a free dessert which was delicious!! Love this place!!!

Tried the sashimi and it was very good, the atmosphere is very good and our waitress Nancy was awesome, she suggested a few rolls and made sure our cups was never empty.

We came to Ichiban for a birthday dinner and Joe B. took great care of us! Super attentive and funny server. Super informative about the menu and answered all questions. he didn't mind that we spent 10 min laughing before ordering and asked for a million sides of yum yum sauce; we felt like the only ones dining in a restaurant full of people. dining out is usually an anxiety-filled experience for me, but with servers like Joe, i can't wait to come back! We hope he is our server everytime we come back!

My family and I absolutely LOVE Ichiban in Sterling Heights. For my birthday tonight we had the BEST dinner hands down. Stan was our cook and he was absolutely AMAZING. He was sociable, funny and super talented. He showed us tricks that we have never seen before. He engaged with all of us and teased our Nino throughout our meal. We were all laughing and throughly entertained. Stan is truly THE MAN. He is a noble leader and came in on his day off to help when they were short staffed on cooks. Thank you Stan for being truly AWESOME. We are forever grateful.

This place is my go too! Food and atmosphere is always top tier. Today we had a new server Raydell was fantastic! He was so kind, polite, attentive, and so compassionate! Will definitely be back but from now on requesting Raydell!

Another great experience! This is the 6th time here this year for lunch with table service. The service has been superb EVERY. SINGLE. TIME!!
