Kimchi Box

First time visiting Kimchi Box and can say it's really good. I order the combo c, which comes with any choice of the kimchi boxes and popcorn chicken with any sauce, and a soft drink. I also ordered the mandu!
- Royal Bulgogi (3/5): The salad and japchae were perfect (no complaints) but my bulgogi was dry and lack a lot of flavor 🤷🏽‍♀️
- Mandu (4/5): fresh and juicy. I did try to ask for side of soy garlic sauce and was informed it's a $1...little odd to charge for switching sauce
- Soy Garlic Popcorn Chicken (5/5): Literally no complaints, enjoyed every bite ( tastes exactly like Hola Seoul in Ann Arbor 👀)

Overall enjoyed myself, great casual atmosphere, but for the vibes it insinuates I wish they had wall outlets (wanted to eat and do work). Really enjoyed myself, just annoyed about the sauce upcharge and the dry (lacking of flavor) bulgogi, which I was most excited about.

Always a good time with good food. Added several menu items. This location has added a bit of a Korean bar vibe into some corners.

I don’t know what’s up with this place because their food is really good, but they never answer the phone ever. We were gonna order from them today and we couldn’t even do that because nobody wanted to answer the phone and they are open.

It blows my mind that this place is not wayyyy busier. This food is, no exaggeration, the best Asian I’ve had in a very long time… ever? Close. Got here by accident when Chipotle was out of rice. Took a gamble, tried something new, 100% don’t regret it. It’s my new fav spot. Best Pad Thai in MI. I want to come back tomorrow.

Awful management, I ordered on their app and then witnessed the whole building close, all the lights went out. No food. Minus $50 until i decide to jump through their hoops to get it back. Thanks!

It smells like DIRTY mop water in there. The cups they give out have visible cracks/scratches. The food wasn’t hot and barely had any chicken in my popcorn chicken box it was fried to a crisp. Also my rice had too much soy sauce. The person working at the front counter was rude on multiple occasions and was very socially awkward. Probably shouldn’t work in customer service having no people skills. Worst experience by far and the language barrier behind the counter doesn’t help either. I will never be coming back. Also way too expensive for having crap service.

I’ve been to Kimchi Box well over 15 times now and honestly I’ve never had a single bad experience. Every time I get the sassy fries and the small wings they’re perfect. Every single location is good too. The flavor is always consistent, everything comes out hot, fresh, and crazy good. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place deserves it. If you want something that never disappoints, this is it.

Beware. The Caucasian employee with glasses and short hair that works the counter is extremely unhappy and mean. She should not be working with people. Unless you want to get yelled at, stay clear of this restaurant.

Food is pretty good. Service is not.

Today, 10/23 at 6:20pm, I ate my dinner with my two kids. They had to go to the bathroom, so I took them over and we left our leftover boxes and plates at the table. The woman (might have been a man) with short hair and black glasses ran over to me and yelled at us saying that I had to bus our table and wipe it down first.

What in the heck? We can’t even leave our table to go to the bathroom? Very weird. I told her that we weren’t even leaving and that’s why our food was still on the table. The person scoffed and said we still had to clean it.

This place is TO DIE FOR!!! Seriously, if you’ve never been… get your butt down here!! The soy garlic flavored ANYTHING is my favorite!! The staff is super nice and the atmosphere is also sooo welcoming!!! I HIGHLY suggest trying one of everything on the menu!!! Everything is sooo scrumptious!

I’ll start by saying I’m very picky when it comes to my food, but the chicken wings and kimchi fries are a 10 out of 10! The chicken sandwich is also pretty good. I would probably give that 8 out of 10.

Kimchi Box is a really cool place to get dinner! The Bibimbap is always fresh and full of flavor, and the dumplings are on point. This is a great place to get an affordable and quick bite, Highly Recommend 👍
