Went up the bakery to get a cake for my son's 9th birthday and they ignored me and let me stand there for 20 minutes before I decided to leave. I'll take my business to a company that actually cares.

The store manager Eddie is the nicest man! He was working today (Sunday) and I went in to grab some Starbucks cups that have sold out by me already. It takes about 45 minutes to get to this specific Kroger from my location. I asked if there was a limit and he said no, so I grabbed the amount I wanted (friends asked me to pick up also) and told him how excited I was and far I drove. Eddie decided that because of my drive he threw a cup in for me for free. What an incredibly generous person to do something like this, and he seemed like he is always this way. Shout out to the Starbucks employees and Eddie for making my day!

Went here today for my son's Covid vaccination appt - I made an appointment for a reason- and they told me it was an hour wait! They were taking the walk-ins before appts!! Absolutely ridiculous! I made an appointment somewhere else & walked out!

I had a negative experience at the customer service desk. There were 4 to 5 people in line ahead of me and there was only one employee working. I waited half hour. The employee's attitude and her tone of voice was very unpleasant. I understand she may have felt under pressure but that is no way to treat customers. I really think the employer needs to give their employees more support at busy times.

The two star is because I thought I was buying the boneless chicken breast for $1.88. A big sign and a lot of packages grouped together so I picked a package of chicken. Upon check out it didn't go to sale price. I asked and waited for help. I was asked if it was a digital coupon. No, it was in the flyer. The employee found the flyer and showed it to me. I said yes, that's it. She said it's for breast and I have tenderloin in my bag. Oh, a lot of packages were all in the area of the sign. It makes it very confusing. She said, they all do that, Walmart,Target... I don't know why that makes it acceptable? I asked for them to be removed from my bill and I had to wait for someone else to help me. When I tried to pay, I couldn't until an employee cleared something. I waited again. Shopping is hard enough with the crowds and no 6 feet distancing and wearing a mask. At least the store could do, is advertise the right product with the right sign and price. No, I didn't read the entire label, I was fooled thinking it was the product being advertised. I guess this Kroger thought I would not watch my bill and just pay for it. Beware shoppers!

The marketplace is very good, but they don't care about Covid-19. There's no hand sanitizer, also the shopping cars and baskets aren't sanitizer.

Unprofessional cashiers rude and racist customers. Strawberries had mold on them.

Shout out to Michelle at the Starbucks who helped me make the staff at my veterinary clinic’s day that much better on this Friday the 13th.

I went to the Starbucks inside the store and had a terrible experience. My drink came out tasting super watery. I went to return it and they exchanged it for a new one. It tasted the same but I didn't want to waste my time going back again. The workers there were not paying attention at all. Maybe they're new but they were on their phones the whole time. One was making the drink for me and there was another one on her phone while there was people in line.

They never have baggers anymore. I was told "you have to help bag" by the cashier. I don't mind helping out if need be, but this happens literally 99% of the time I go. I have kids and it really isn't my job, I'm not getting paid

The staff here is for one terrible, teenagers in the parking lot screaming they can't wait to f**king go home, carts are not being cleaned anymore. Waited 30 minutes in the bottle return line due to only one bottle machine being able to work, Kroger staff was notified many times and never came to help. Utterly disgusting, a very bad rep since this is supposed to be the "big new Kroger" highly suggest target or meijers over this half a** grocery store, save your money and your health I can promise you there is Covid here. Also arrive at 3:15, bottle return is claimed to be closed cleaned 2-3pm, it's disgusting in here and clearly never cleaned or managed.

2020-01-31. Kroger Marketplace. Sterling Heights, MI.Kroger Marketplaces are the ginormous stores that are joining the ranks of Meijer, Target, and Walmart where they carry everything a household needs. They're truly one-stop shopping conveniences. This was the latest Kroger Marketplace and it's absolutely massive. I came by a few times and every time they were still under construction. I decided to wait a few months before trying again.Located in a plaza in the northeast corner of Dequindre and 18 Mile, it has a relatively small parking lot compared to the size of the store. I came at night and was able to find a spot relatively easily, but I can see that at peak hours, you'll be walking a bit from car to store. This Kroger replaced the old Kroger that used to be on the Southeast corner of the same intersection.I'm not sure what it is, but I was disappointed in this Kroger. Not sure if it's the sheer size, or the decor, or whether I just hyped myself up too much in the preceding months, but the store just didn't feel right. My regular Kroger is at 23 Mi and Hayes, and while it's smaller, it's warmer and more welcoming. One thing I do notice about Kroger stores is that they may have different pricing based on location. Most noticeable on grocery staples (notably milk, eggs, and the like). Here the prices were a smidgen cheaper than my home location. We didn't end up buying anything, the main reason for the visit was just to check it out. Didn't interact with anyone either so I can't really comment on the staff or customer service. The one positive I found was that there is a large seating area at the front of the store, so if you pick up some food or a coffee from Starbucks, you have a place to relax and enjoy it. Restrooms are also near the seating area but they were not as well maintained as other Kroger's I've been to. I'll give theme the doubt and say that they're understaffed since I did see a we're hiring sign.Overall, while it's a brand new building, I'm happy with my home location. Of all the grocery chains, I still prefer Kroger over the rest. While their prices may be just a hair higher than their competitors, they do a good job of keeping the shelves stocked and they are customer service oriented (speaking only of my home location not any other location). I give my home location 4 stars, but for this location my gut is telling me 2,5 stars rounded up to 3 (benefit of doubt). If You would like to experience more, come dine-with-me.yelp.com I'd love to have your company... Bon Appétit!
