Kid-friendliness: They had no issues with us bringing our 2 year old and ensuring she had a chair as well.

Mangiabebi is a ok restaurant we went there to celebrate a birthday and the food was ok. The red pepper soup was good with the pesto on top and the salad was also good the 4 cheese gnocchi was pretty good the calamari was also good then when the pasta came out things just when downhill fast the seafood pasta came out and it was bad the dish had no taste like 0 salt and the pasta was over cooked which did not suit the dish at all and the carbonara was like a between of cause a Pepe and carbonara the pork chop was OK but a bit over seasoned and the steak was cooked well and the dessert wasn’t anything special. The lava cake was mediocre at best dinner for two for $90 is a pretty good deal but I wouldn’t recommend her to go on the celebration. 76/100

Was there for a dinner meeting so really not the atmosphere of the restaurant. I got the Ahi Tuni for my main and wasnt really to my taste. The mushroom pasta was fantastic, as were all the sides, salads and appetizers. Will certainly go back for a meal in main restaurant and hopefully up everything to all 5 stars.

A great spot for really delicious food & attentive service. We were just there yesterday and I would be happy to go back today. It's very good!

My husband and I went to Mangiabevi Urban Italian with another couple and had an amazing experience. We all decided to go with the Dinner for Two special for $90, and it was a lot of food—definitely a great value. Everything was delicious, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. We also ordered a bottle of prosecco, which paired perfectly with the meal.

The space itself is small but cozy, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made for the perfect escape on a cold winter night. Even though they were moderately busy for a Wednesday, the staff kept everything running smoothly, and the restaurant was impressively clean. Whether you’re looking for a casual date night or a relaxed dinner with friends, this spot definitely delivers. We’ll be back!

The Tomahawk Steak was exceptional! It’s large enough to split with your significant other, which is what we did. Cooked Medium Rare with a glass of full bodied red wine made every bite exquisite.

That came with the split pasta dish, of which, both were very different taste and regions of Italy, yet still very satisfying.

The Zucchini Flowers were extremely delicious. We knew we like them but when these came out, the taste was better than what we expected.

If you get a chance to diner here, do it! We’ll definitely be back for more.

Phenomenal experience! We were welcomed by the hostess and taken immediately to our table at our reservation time. The entire staff was attentive to every detail throughout our experience! We had the octopus appetizer as well as the Shishido peppers and sausage to start! The octopus was absolutely delicious! We shared a bottle of wine that was suggested by our server, and it was the perfect pairing to our entrées.

The bone in pork chop with prosciutto was perfectly cooked and soooo delicious!!! The presentation of the scallop and salmon entree was so unique and the scallops were so buttery!!! They have a fettuccine with a mushroom truffle cream sauce that we asked to change out the pasta and chef was happy to accommodate! That sauce is to die for!!! I could literally drink it by the gallon!

The restaurant is intentionally laid out and beautifully decorated! Not too loud, perfect for a conversation!

Some of the best food in Metro Detroit that I have experienced! And the service is truly top-notch!

Five stars in my book! Highly recommended. We’ll definitely be back!!

Ordered the steak medium rare and it was raw. Then they gave us a side of olive oil with the steak. What am I meant to do with olive oil??? It was literally cold on the inside so I had the manager come with a flame thrower to warm it up. Also it was 70% fat this cow must of been my sister in animal form. The pasta was good. Recommend getting that. Prices are not terrible.

Visited recently for the first time. After waiting a solid 15 minutes or so for our table, despite having a reservation, we were finally seated and then it took another five minutes or so before we were approached by our waiter. We shook off the slow start because we were excited to try this restaurant and excited for a great Italian meal.
We took our waiter's recommendation and ordered one of the nightly specials; stuffed pork tenderloin w polenta. We also ordered the pasta with rosemary and white wine sauce.
We started with the Italian sausage and blistered shishito peppers appetizer. It tasted fine but it was quite underwhelming. It was simply sliced Italian sausage and the peppers in some olive oil and nothing else. It lacked seasoning, and a sauce of some sort drizzled over the peppers would have elevated it to something more like what you would expect in this kind of restaurant.
Next we shared the arugula and shaved fennel salad. It was delicious.
We shared both of the entrees and both were disappointing in their own ways. The stuffed pork tenderloin was extremely dry and we had to request additional sauce just to be able to remotely enjoy it. We regretted ordering it and wished we had ordered the stuffed pork chop instead. The sauce on the pasta was extremely delicious, very rosemary forward as is to be expected with rosemary being in the name of the dish. The problem with the dish was the texture of the pasta. It was "gluey". Knowing this restaurant is affiliated with Ventimiglia's Italian Market, our hopes were very high for an authentic pasta experience. We spend a lot of time in Italy and know what properly cooked pasta is. Most restaurants in our country overcook the pasta and you don't get that al dente "chew" in the center of the pasta. Not only did this pasta not have the al dente chew but it had a very gluey texture which comes from either not cooking the pasta in boiling water but rather simmering water, or it can happen when pasta is partially precooked and then finished cooking later. Either way, it was disappointing to have that delicious sauce diminished by improperly cooked pasta.
Given the other reviews, we think we will give this restaurant another try, hoping that it was just an off night.
