Thank God they are closed for good! It sure took a long time for them to fold! Their food has been going downhill ever since the two brothers stopped cooking and they gave the cooking job to young boys who were more interested in their phone than ever even one time making a medium rare hamburger. In order to check a hamburger to see if it was done they would cut into it. Horrible horrible practice. In today’s world, we use the thermometer. The waitresses were very low class and never checked on their customers after throwing the food on the table. Thank God they are gone.

First and foremost I never write reviews yet alone bad reviews but I would like to make my people aware. There was not some big exchange where we had any form of disagreement I literally just felt the vibe. I walked into this restaurant where there were about 4-6 customers who were all the same race as the workers. I was greeted and as I got to the register the waitress an older lady proceeded to take my order as she took my order it appeared I made her uncomfortable she wouldn’t look directly at me and because I was feeling the vibe was off I continued to look at her. As she stared directly at her note pad I can see her uncomfortably looking up with her eyes as if she was uncomfortable servicing me. She gave me my total I handed her my card. As she took my card it appeared she didn’t want to touch it and wanted to hurry and get it out of her hands because she didn’t hand it back to me as I stood there waiting to be handed back my card she tossed it to the counter and turned away. There was also a guy behind the counter who asked about my order and obtained my pop to give her to hand to me she sat it on the whole other counter from where I was standing and said there’s your pop it was weird because I was standing at a separate counter even though it was close. I was really uncomfortable and wanted to return my food however I didn’t. When I went back in the grab my food she literally handed me the bag as if it was something icky she was holding and wanted to hurry and get it out of her hands when I opened my food which was some onion rings they were burnt. I automatically got the feeling that they burnt them on purpose because of my race. I thought maybe they just looked that way. When I started to eat them they were the crispest onion rings I’ve ever had with out an onion to eat with it. I’m making this review for my fellow African Americans I pray you never walk into this establishment. I pray that you’ll choose to spend your money somewhere else. Of course I know there is racism everywhere but it is now time to start holding these places accountable. If they have a problem with us being around them then they should have a problem with spending our money. I know for a fact that they will definitely know who I am because the quiet but uncomfortable feeling they have me I exuded it I was just as uncomfortable as they were and it showed in my face.

Just went for lunch during my break and ordered a Gyro omelet with spinach. By far one of the best Gyro meats I have ever tasted, perfect spices and amount of meat in the omelet. Very clean and friendly.

I must say,been here many times.Food is average..but sometimes it's great!
Problem that I always see..is the breakfast toast.Every single time..its dried out..not burnt..but nearly as hard as a crouton..Reminds me when you microwave any bread product and it ends up dried out and hard..They really need to improve on their Bread/Toast.This is constructive criticism..otherwise the place is great...the best hash browns....

Been here twice in the past 6 months, both times,es the place felt very dirty. 1st impression back in January on the 1st visit, was it smelled musty and felt very dirty. Service was mediocre and took a while to get our food. Plus the servers just carried on loud conversations in their native language the whole time. My burger was dry and lacked flavor.

2nd time there was on Sunday 3/30. Again, felt dirty but didn’t smell this time. The food was better for me with a grilled chicken pita and fries, and service was friendly and prompt. But when my husband went to the counter to pay, he said he saw people slipping and sliding around in the kitchen and the bathroom was disgustingly dirty. He was grossed out thinking about how dirty the kitchen must be. He instantly felt like the food wasn’t sitting well with him. Unfortunately, he was up violently vomiting all night long, so we think he got food poisoning. He had a chef salad with ranch and a coney dog (no onions). We will never be back.

Food is usually very good. We tried the chicken fingers tonight. We didn't care for the breading at all. The soup was very good, though.

Orange Tree Café on 15 Mile in Sterling Heights has the friendliest service and an outstanding menu. The chopped steak dinner is my favorite! I have never enjoyed a dinner so well that I wanted to lick my plate. Wow! I will spread the word to all that I know. Keep up the good, quality and keep customers coming. Sweet!

I recently had an amazing dining experience at orange tree cafe and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for a meal. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive.

Now, let's talk about the food! Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. I particularly enjoyed the food, which was cooked to perfection. The ingredients tasted fresh and high-quality, and you could tell that a lot of care went into the preparation. The dessert was the cherry on top—absolutely delicious!

Overall, it exceeded my expectations in every way. Whether you're looking for a casual meal or a special occasion, this place is a must-visit. I can't wait to go back! Five stars all the way!

I left this establishment. They wouldn't let me wash my hands or utilize the restroom prior to ordering.

We waited 20min for my children’s juice then they were out of the juice we asked for… then our food came out the children again had to wait 15 minutes for their food. Our kids are 3 and 5 you can imagine how that was… the steak pita was so tough we had to send it back and they were surprised we complained about the wait on everything….
They told us nothing was wrong.
Waitress was kind but everything else was gross and unorganized
