PALM SWEETS Bakery & Cafe

We went there on Tuesday and we got baklava. While sitting in the dining room, I found a hair inside the baklava and i saw a fly on the glass of baklava. I told the cashier, and he was shocked. He didn’t believe me when I said there was a hair. But he replaced it for me, though he was mad at me and he didn’t say sorry for that. The employees are very rude .By the way I forgot to took a picture of the hair.
Anyway, I’m not going to visit this place again.

I have been visiting this place for more than two years ,it’s really a very beautiful and wonderful place for families and friends, there are two ladies working on the morning, Rania and Intisar. They are so nice , They really take care of the customers and work very well. There is also a very wonderful lady who makes birthday cakes her name is Kristen,every year on my son and daughter birthday she makes a wonderful cakes .

Their sweets were the best I have ever bought from them. Their sweets tasted old. The Zanoud El Set tasted sour. I swear the cake pieces are very old.

This bakery is absolutely phenomenal! First, the ambiance in there is so nice. They have very comfy couches for those who want to spend some time there. The service was excellent. The women behind the counter were so nice and polite. And everyone of them had a smile on their face so they clearly love their job. And lastly, the baklava was some of the best I’ve tried. Even my family said the same thing. It was so fresh and the right amount of sweetness. I will definitely be back.

Delicious ice cream wow. The guy who helped us my great Auntie and I he was so kind and went out of his way, he got us ice creams, excellent service so thoughtful and kind he should be promoted

The food is amazing but, the employees are very very rude. I was buying a birthday cake for my mother, and the lady was not cooperating properly she was doing whatever she wanted with the cake. When I asked her to add a happy birthday sign she slapped it on there.

I had the pleasure of visiting Palm Sweets Bakery & Cafe for two consecutive nights, and I must say that the Baklava selection was beyond exceptional. The talented lady named Rashad رغد, who assisted me both nights, made my experience even sweeter. Her attention to detail and the way she carefully curated the perfect selection of fresh and delicious Baklava left a lasting impression.

The Baklava itself was top-notch—fresh, flavorful, and with the perfect balance of sweetness and texture. Rashad’s hospitality and customer care elevated the entire experience, ensuring that I left with not just a box of Baklava, but with a memorable experience as well.

Even though I drove over an hour each way from Ann Arbor just to visit this amazing Iraqi bakery, it was more than worth it. I will absolutely return anytime I’m in the area, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a true taste of quality and hospitality.

They had horrible customer service and they disrespect anyone that isn’t Arabic or their culture.

I found out about this place through a Facebook post while looking for the Dubai Chocolate Bar near me. This place was very clean, a warm welcome, very cozy atmosphere. You can stay to eat your treat or drink your coffee within reason. They also have ice cream & such. They have everything! I asked if I could take pictures of the displays, bc I have never seen a bakery filled with so many fresh bakery goodies. I asked if they made everything themselves & yes they do. Don't hesitate, check them out!!!

Very very noisy ? bad service also food not very delicious except for the DAHINA was amazing, BAKLAVA etc was not that delicious, I am saying that as a Baklava chef in Turkey so it wasn't good actually. Also it's not clean ?

We were there Sunday night there was 2 old ladies was taking our order, every time I ask to get something she was making that face, made us feel like very uncomfortable, and the other one changed us tips without even asking, will never going back in that shop again

The sweets here are very delicious the kanafeh is to die for and the cakes are very moist and include a lot of fruit, the pastries like the meat pies can sometimes be dry but that is understandable for a reheated pie. As for the ice cream every flavor is amazing the workers are very kind and knowledgeable about the flavors, Angelo and Ali especially informed me and let me sample a lot of flavors so I knew what to get. A wonderful bakery a must try if you live in Sterling Heights.
