Cool old time eatery. Place has been here a long time. Just good old-fashioned comfort food.

I called in a breakfast order and when I went inside to get it, the place smelled like an outhouse.Literally nasty garbage, dirty mop water, and poop combined. No thank you! The time before I ordered a burger and it was the most disgusting meat- I wouldn’t feed it to my dog. Extremely disappointing and I will not be back.

been coming here for years, now amount of food is cut by 70% and prices heavily increased. fries were undercooked and thawed/raw, with barely any in the dinner/combo. not how it used to be, new management/staff? won't be coming here if it's like this now, 2 times in a row

Me and my wife used to go here when we first started dating, decided to stop back in and it was worth it. The Chili cheese fries were exactly what we were looking for, the food is your standard coney food and it's great. Tuna and Geno's special had big portions and good flavor with crispy chicken, the atmosphere is lovely, good old fasioned diner feel with the ball game on. Staff is always incredibly friendly. If you're in the mood for Coney Island this is the best you'll find.

Breakfast and pitas are great here but the burgers are terrible. They are suppose to have some kind of good meat but the burger was full of grissle and I got a bone chip stuck in my tooth from the meat. Not sure what they are grinding up... nasty.
me and my friend like coming here late at night when theyre opened 24 hours and it never disappoints. the 2 ladies who are always there and super sweet and attentive. food is good and fairly priced

I'm not typically one to make too much of a fuss about service or my meal but there are absolutely exceptions to be made with this establishment..
my family and I went here for my daughter's birthday dinner. immediately upon entering, we were hit with the smell of trash and rot and as someone who used to clean restaurant Kitchens for a living, I was able to recognize the smell as being an over full grease trap..
either way, my daughter was committed to eating here and the smell wasn't enough to deter her so I figured I could tough it out for her.. we were seated and started to browse the menu when I noticed that the silverware was filthy and still had food stuffs stuck to it. not just one set, but all of them. our silverware was replaced but the new silverware was also filthy, as were the dishes that our food came out on.
but perhaps the worst part of the entire ordeal and the sole reason for my choice to go out of my way to leave a review was the poor service..
when we mention the silverware upon entering, we were very kind and discreet about it but the waitress took the silverware, literally threw it into the dirty dish bin and went to another waitress and audibly told her that she "will not be doing this with these people all night", referring to us.
at which point, the other waitress took over for her and she went on to do the dishes and took every opportunity to passive aggressively bang things around.. we didn't say anything to anybody or make any complaint aside from a request for new silverware. but the entire ordeal was extremely uncomfortable and I am absolutely certain that no one trying to run a profitable business would allow anybody like that to work for them.
I never caught the young girls name but she was brunette, maybe early twenties, late teens with an absolutely terrible attitude.

When you walk in you immediately smell something like a musty basement. 6 of us went for dinner. I had two Detroit Coney dogs. My food arrived with a large curl of brillo on top. Fish n chips were almost black with over done fries. They under cooked the burger that was super sloppy, kids grilled cheese with unmelted cheese. The water tasted funny. The waitress seemed like she took valium. I would not send anyone to eat at this gross place. The health department should visit.

This quaint little diner is a throwback to classic Hollywood eateries. With its small booths and counter seating, it's like stepping into a movie scene. While the charm is undeniable, it's worth noting that the booths are quite small. If you're on the larger side, you might want to skip them altogether.

Went there to get breakfast. The waitress was rude and the place is dirty . I seen the cook wipe a plate with food on it with is dirty rag . My coffee cup was dirty . The cook pick something off a plate before he put the food on it . The place is so dirty , they should be shut down.
Donna is the rudest server I have ever dealt with. She is very contrite and quick tempered with customers of a different ethnicity other than caucasians. I say this from the treatment I observed being given to myself and other customers of a different ethnicity and the difference being displayed to the Caucasian customers. I would have eaten in the diner but the treatment was not welcoming to that. Pretty sure this will be the last time I subject myself and my kids to this.
