I love this place. I can tell from experience this place use the best product to serve from meat to vegetables and everything else, also good news, this place is going to open a booth at the greektown hotel and casino very soon. You guys will be very happy

We used to love ordering from Sahara back in the days and used to order alot of food from here for our entire family especially on Sundays. We would spend alot of money but now it's not even worth it. To mention, they used to give us 12 pieces of dolma for $22 and now they only give 9 small pieces which is a disgrace for $22, for Dolma? That's crazy!! Such a ripe off!! NEVER ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN!! ITS NOT THE SAME!! AND HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT SERVICE!!

I rented their hall for a family event. I can not say enough good things about them. Excellent food, service, atmosphere and price. The owner is a true gentleman and very accommodating. I definitely recommend them for all events.

My friend had a wedding there, they served appetizers then the food was served. The food was covered until all plates were served then someone uncovered them. So the guests starved serving themselves from the buffet session, then an older lady came which she seemed like a manager or owner told me “you hungry people already opened the food” excuse me. I ignored her and went along with my food.

Later on I notice the Groom has ordered other food for special guests because the other food in the buffet was wayyyyyy too spicy. As I went back to get a salad I mentioned how the food was too spicy and not enjoyable she tells me “are you guys really crying” wow the nerve she had. I wouldn’t go back ever.

Unfortunately, Sahara has gone to shambles. I gave it MANY chances but the last 4-5 times, the food is GARBAGE. The pickled cabbage is always rancid, the quality just quite frankly SUCKS and the prices they charge for such LOW QUALITY food is asinine. The staff/waitress are outstanding and great but the food is just not up to par anymore. I used to love coming here but unfortunately, not anymore.

We use to love coming here. Still love the servers there, but definitely finding new place after last order!!
Last couple times we ate in the restaurant the food quality declined! Last pick up order was large Greek salad with Grilled chicken, we got 1/3 of the chicken breast, they cut it diagonally to create more pieces, yet they put one thin slice on large $23 salad!!! They used to put two thin slices now it’s only one thin slice with 80% lettuce!!!
You can do better Sahara!
