The food was so expensive and the flavor is really bad. The fries are really greasy and we can’t eat. Michigan ave location.
First, your customer service is excellent! The fact that you went out of your way to deliver my dressing for my salad when you didn’t have to do that is commendable. Most places just refund and call it a day.
Second, your fattoush dressing is by far the best I have ever had, especially with the zaatar in it.
And of course, you guys have the best chicken shawarma sandwiches!

I saw an advertisement for it and the view of the shawarma is killer. I put the address to go. I saw the distance is 40 minutes. Honestly, I don’t drive long distances, unfortunately. But I gave it 5 stars for the view and cleanliness. I am sure the taste is terrible. My little heart can’t take it.
Alright, make sure to go there when you are really hungry and order one sandwich. Their sandwiches are huge and filled with chicken and sauce. Absolutely delicious.

Finally got to try this spot after seeing many people talking about it being the best shawarma in metro detroit. After trying it, I have to say I don't think I can argue. I've had a lot of shawarma from different spots around Dearborn, Detroit, the other suburbs, and have to say this was one of the more unique takes. Seems like they press it on a griddle with some kind of oil and seasoning on the outside - makes it crispy on the outside but still soft when you bite in. Chicken and garlic sauce inside was great, as well - just wished I had asked for extra garlic.
Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the hummus wasn't my favorite. The lemon in it or something with how they made it almost gave it a horseradish-y taste. Not the best. I'll probably skip the hummus next time - the shawarma was so great I'll definitely be coming back.

I just visited Amo Sami's at the new Canteen, and it’s just as amazing as I remember from the past years. The shawarma is perfectly seasoned and toasted with their signature sauce to absolute perfection—unlike anything I've ever had. Despite long lines, I received excellent customer service and high-quality food. I highly recommend trying the chicken shawarma, meat shawarma, and falafel dips! Since they've only been in Dearborn for a week, it's understandable to encounter longer wait times, as many people have been anticipating this food truck's arrival. I know I’ll be back every week for my favorite shawarma!!

The only reason why it doesn’t get 5 stars is because of there hours , they close at 4:30 pm people are still at work or out doing things and want to get a late night bite after work or whatever they were doing , my thing is why would they open at 8 am ? When typically the food they have isn’t breakfast, and they close literally at the heart of the day when people are getting off work , or people are out with there day waiting later to get an awesome beef shawarma from there . My recommendation is open at 12 pm and close at 9:30 pm , you will get way more business at night than in the morning I guarantee it, that’s why we are in business right ? To make money not just pay for the bills.

Amos Sami’s shawarma canteen Dearborn food truck
08/17/24 4:00pm order#71
Made an order at the food truck in canteen Dearborn midtown with the owner Sami explained I was in a rush. Ordered a chicken shawarma and fries. Told me the order will be done in 25-30 minutes and that there is orders infront of me so I said that’s fine. 4:30 comes along I ask about my order #71 and was told my sandwich is ready but still waiting for fries. Waited near the truck and maybe 3-4 orders of fries for orders that were way after me was givin to them but I’m still waiting. 4:50 comes along and there’s maybe 2-3 people with me have been waiting at this point for 45+ minutes so I asked again if my order was ready and was told that my order was still waiting for fries. So I just asked for the sandwich and told them to keep the fries and to keep the money. I was very upset and frustrated. My first time at Amos shawarma and it might be my last.
