We visited the restaurant on Valentines Day and we're not impressed by the food, service or the Chefs skills. The entire hibachi table went without refills on our drinks and eventually had to flag down a server from across the restaurant. Our Chef gave us 2 little bowls of sauce but no yum yum sauce until his cooking was done and we had already eaten half our food. The shrimp and steak were both over cooked, it was really a disappointing visit.

They charge 18% service charge there, if your are ordering off the sushi menu there is no notification regarding this.
In their sushi bar area there is no heating in there.

Had a birthday dinner here. Rice was great and my chicken and steak. The noodles we're just okay. I wish they was a different type of noodle. Overall definitely would recommend.

The staff was rude. We felt rushed and like we were a burden. There was junk all over this restaurant. Tables and booths that are out of commission are stacked up in eating areas with boxes of napkins and storage items on top, literally all over the restaurant anywhere you look. The staff wears gloves but it feels like it has nothing to do with cleanliness for the customer. They were unclean and worn like they were either for show or to protect the staff from getting their actual hands dirty. The place was filthy. From a broken front window to storage items stacked up everywhere to just zero maintenance in any field. 18 percent gratuity added to our bill. My husband couldn’t even get a refill on his drink. They were rude to the other guests at our table. The food tasted good. We won’t be back.

I really wanted to enjoy my visit to Sho Gun in Sterling Heights, but I left disappointed. The wait staff was surprisingly rude and dismissive, which made the whole experience uncomfortable. The food itself was fine, but good food can’t make up for poor service. I expected better hospitality and won’t be returning with my family

Everything was wrong . Placed a pick up order women argued with me . Order should of been done by 9:10 its now 9:25 and im writing this review in the still waiting for my food wile employees are just sitting around and phones are ringing and not being answered .. this place is horrible anymore .. make the trip to osakas insted ...

I would not feed this to anyone let alone my dog. We came in, the place felt like a ghost town. We were seated, and almost immediately asked for our order without a sushi menu or anything. Chef finally came and then barked orders out. Finally food was done, receipts were shoved in our face before we even got to touch our food telling us we needed to pay. I then went on to take a bite of my food. The food was bland, the food was gross, and the food was overall unappetizing and inedible. I proceeded to ask for a refund for the food I didn’t even touch. I was refused. I asked for a manager, no manager is present on site and waitress told me he comes in and out whenever he pleases. I then told her that I did not even touch the food, and she refused saying “we need to pay for the air, electric and the gas” while I understand that, this is unacceptable to not even offer a managers number or any type of remorse or anything to make up for this terrible experience. I will not be coming back nor will I recommend this place to anybody.
