Great place for a late night dinner or snack, staff are nice and food is great. Before you go remember that it can be busy.

Ordered on-line last night, went to pick it up, the front was closed, didn't know where to go to get my food so I called them. They told me to pull around to the front and they would bring it out. We watched a guy with a surgical mask around his neck take bags to cars. I managed to catch the "manager" when she was out. She asked me to come in to get my order and apologized for my order being late. She confessed they were overwhelmed and had to ask family to come in to assist, none of which wore masks. I took what she had to the car, realized it was all cold and we were missing 2 shakes a burger and a salad. They did offer me a shake to compensate but I can never go there again.

Came here because I was SUPERRR hungry. I was very excited until my food took over 20 minutes and came out literally ice cold. Decided to eat it anyway because I started to feel sick how hungry I was. But really didn't feel like waiting another half hour for food

This place is really slow and unorganized. I waited for 30 minutes in the drive thru !! The food is always so fresh and good, and the people were really nice but it should not have taken that long.

Just got back from steak and shake. We ordered on door dash app and because the virus they had to bring it out to our car, we got there at 5:30 + the app said our food was ready at 5:38 so we called and said our name and that our order was ready to which the manager replied “ yep. were understaffed and overworked.” In a snotty tone, we still waited for the food and were polite despite the fact that we didn’t get our food until 6:15. Which whatever, it happens however the waitress that brought it had a horrible attitude and said to a customer next to us “I don’t care, don’t come back here.” On top of that—we got our food and it was cold, my husbands pop was warm thus leading me to believe our food has been sitting there awhile. Also, the first item on our receipt was sauce and they gave us an extra fry but zero sauce. Unimpressed and will call customer service!!!

Ordered two prime burgers loaded for delivery. Received two single cheeseburgers with nothing on them and cold as ice. If they're going to charge $10 for a burger I expect it to be hot, loaded as ordered, and the one that was ordered. Delivery driver stated that this was the most incompetent restaurant he picks up from. I tend to agree

I have eaten Steak 'n Shake a lot in the past. Usually it's a great experience. However, everyone at this location from Management down needs to be fired... Waited 30 minutes for a carry-out order that was wrong 3 times in a row. Finally left and can't even eat the fries at all as it is literally soaked in [what may or may not be] grease, and the burgers were [likely intentionally] overloaded with seasoning salt. Grossest taste ever. I hope corporate takes their reviewers serious. This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. STAY FAR AWAY!

my Frisco melt and the steak burgers were amazing. I am upset though because we ordered 3 chili cheese fries and when delivered the was only chili on the fries. I looked back at my receipt and it does say chili cheese fries. if someone orders it should at least be correct.

Don't care for the dine-in experience here. Thankfully they have a drive through & their portobello & swiss burgers are to die for.

We dine in when the new cook Randall is on the shift. Normally we would call to see if him or the new manager ms tasha is on the shift. Our food be great! And served hot. There maybe some workers who slack on different shifts but I can see this place pulling thriving the way it once did with new management and more compassionate worker's

Just horrible! Walked in female manager sat us, tables were not bussed, one waitress on floor. Finally after 22 minutes we were asked for drink order and food. My wife had to get up and ask for drinks after 8 minute wait. Then 15 minutes later waitress came and asked what we ordered, lost our ticket! So finally i said never mind, we would go else where. Then had audacity to charge for drinks. Meanwhile female manager not doing nothing, but having cigarette break. As we were walking out male manager that just came in, asked us what was wrong, we told him. Hopefully he handles situation. As that lady being manager, she should of stepped up and showed leadership and help the waitress, that was clearly struggling. Waitress tried her best to wait on a half dozen tables.

Service back to being terrible.We waited 25 min after placing our order before walking out.Unfortunately my kids love this place but it'll be a long time before we return to give them another shot

We were seated next to an older couple. The man was upset, said they'd been waiting for 20 minutes for their food. We asked server about time. She said 20 minutes for food. 20 minutes had came and went the other couple left at this time. (=40 minutes) She hadn't even brought our drinks. We looked around realized every table was seated but no one had food. We waited 5 more, asked about time, she said under staffed. Still.. no one had food. We left!

Little to no communication between workers; the manager said so herself. The food was lukewarm by the time me and my table had gotten the meal. The only good thing was ultimately the shakes. The order had been taken 3 times in order to get it properly, and they still got the order wrong (i ordered a butter burger with everything) and they gave me the buns, cheese, burger. The butter made it too soggy, which, I've had these before, its supposed to make the bread softer. The hamburger was both overcooked b and too cold by the time it got to us. A health violation. The rest of the table had to wait an extra 30 minutes for the rest of the food, and another 20 for water and a root beer. Would NOT recommend.

Absolutely terrible! My wife and son and I went here about 4 hours ago and waited a half an hour to get our order taken. Then an additional 50 minutes for our food. We had to ask for everything we needed. Silverware, napkins, cream and sugar. People were leaving due to the long wait and horrible service. Get it together at this location, because the food and prices are excellent! The service, not so much.
