There is usually a line, but it's worth the wait.

A nice breakfast/lunch place, 1 of 3 locations.Greeted quickly by a smiling lady when we walked in at 11 am on a Thursday. Seated in a big, wraparound booth with several tables. After being open 5 hrs already this place is really clean. Not just the tables, but the seats & chairs as well as the carpet. The menu is huge so I had ask for more time twice from the server. They are really efficient folks. My inability to decide took me, eventually, to the daily special (only $6.25 before 11, $7.25 after) while my son got the Horn of Plenty, a Dutch Baby filled with fresh fruit & whipped cream. The Garden Surprise is a veggie & cheese filled version. There are several other Dutch Baby options as well as the larger German pancakes, crepes, waffles, Belgian waffles, omelets, salads, soups and sandwiches. My son nearly inhaled his fruit-filled breakfast while I enjoyed all my eggs, bacon, fried potatoes & biscuits (with honey, of course) at a slightly more leisurely pace. We'd definitely come back.Vegetarian options: Vegans might have some issues due to their more restricted dietary choices.Kid-friendliness: It's a diner, off course it's kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Could be a bit tight in a few spots but otherwise good.

Trying this restaurant for the first time. The food was average normal taste nothing special and no wrong with it, but probably my expectations were above the normal. I may return to try their German pancakes!

The place for breakfast or brunch!!! There's a reason the line goes out the door. It is worth the wait!

The waitress was 5+ . She substituted buckwheat pancakes for the regular ones. The buckwheat pancakes were the real thing. They were not a mix with another flour . It's almost impossible to find. Great for Uppers!Vegetarian options: Sorry too long since I have seen the menu. I was with a group but had an appointment and needed to leave early.

This place is a community staple in the Sterling Heights area. We go to the original Pantry on VanDyke Avenue. We had our usual oven baked apple pancake which is an ooey gooey wonder. Sure it takes a little extra time, and if you're in a hurry don't get it. However if you have the time, it's a special treat. We've had other items too, and everything is good, but we are pretty much set with our order before we go.

This is a regular weekend spot for us because the food is top notch, the staff is friendly and helpful, and I love the strong family vibes. If you go here, get the eggs Benedict.

The best breakfast you will ever have. This place has been around for several years and the interior is dated, but the food and the service more than make up for that. I do not care what you order off their menu, you will not be disappointed.
