VARA Juice (Sterling Heights)

Asked for a smoothie without sugar and was told no because they “pre-make 30” of every smoothie every hour? Apparently, making a “fresh” smoothie without sugar was too much effort … even though they claim all their smoothies are fresh. Disappointing that trying to be healthy is an inconvenience to these employees. I think if I’m paying for something I should be able to choose if there’s sugar or not.

Dietary restrictions: None. Everyone’s lazy and unwilling to make any changes to their “freshly” made smoothies.

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience here was disappointing. My friend and I were really excited to try this place, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to our expectations.

When we arrived, the staff member didn’t greet us or acknowledge us. She came out from the back after a minute but said nothing. When it was time to order, she took my friend’s order and walked away before even asking for mine.

We ordered a smoothie and an açaí bowl. The smoothies tasted freezer-burned, and the açaí bowl was completely melted. When we inquired about nutritional information, we were told, “We don’t know. Fruit is either sweet or not, so we can’t give an accurate description.” Additionally, the smoothies didn’t seem fresh. She didn’t use a blender or even seal the lid with the machine, which makes me doubt they were made to order.

Overall, we were really disappointed with the service and quality of the food.

Ok guys don’t get me wrong ur nice and everything is so good and u have very nice people but one thing is the cleaning smell in the store is to strong the fablaso cleaner smells really strong that I can almost taste it in the smoothie please last time I took 2 melon smoothie i couldn’t drink it because the smell is too much in the plastic cups if u can take it down a notch with the cleaner it would be perfect please and thank you

This vara juice is the best i’ve been to! Their juice and smoothies taste so much better than other locations near me. The workers are also so sweet and friendly!

They make amazing smoothies. Some of my favs are Awar Qalb , Vara juice and Jamaican Mango. The staff is always super friendly. This has to be my fav smoothie place in this area.
