I've been coming here for 6 years and consider the owner and her sister my friends. That being said they no longer offer dine in. They are carry out only. (This upsets many people.)

You can call ahead to place an order or place an order at the drive thru window which is on the north side of the building opposite of the door. They get busy in spurts and can easily get to a 45 minute wait especially on Saturday. You can call ahead and specify a later pick up time which I recommend if you have a large order or it's a Saturday in the summer.

If you're just passing through on i-94 it's less than a mile from multiple exits. I would order 2 Mcberts with a large coffee if you want something easy to eat in the car. This will come out to $15 and change as of November 2025. If you wanna get wild you can add bacon or upgrade from pork sausage to turkey sausage. They specialize in customization. However little or big you want your portion to be with any specific combination of food to build your own meal.

This restaurant has been here for over 30 years and ran by the same owner. Your not just getting a meal. You're getting a taste of the history from downtown Stevensville.

This community classic is by far the best place to get an all-American homestyle breakfast! They always deliver the most wholesome and filling meals with pleasant service and a price you cannot beat these days. I highly recommend the Hungry Mountain and Eggs Benedict. Be prepared for cash-only, and they are also carry-out only at this time. It is still 100% worth the trip!

I have to say this place is the best place in berrien county to get your breakfast. This place always treated me like family and the food is always over and beyond wonderful. You get a large portion for minimum amount of money. It's a family owed and operated place. My breakfast I usually get I eat on at least 4 times. Well worth it in many ways. I love this place.

Cash only! Ordered takeout here and was served by the nicest woman ever! Food was fresh and yummy and they are very willing to make any substitutions or adjust portion sizes and change the price of the item accordingly which is nice! Little old fashioned but in a good way.

Growing up in Stevensville, Bert’s has been a go-to breakfast stop and a fixture of the community for as long as I can remember. My wife and I just moved back to the area from the West Coast and Bert’s is still going strong with some of the best take-out breakfast food you could ask for - all at an incredible value.

Over a couple decades of enjoying this spot (sometimes going 3x a week), I’ve tried nearly everything on the menu, but some standouts are the Hungry Mountain (be prepared for the challenge, because it’s a hike), the Morning Bagel (the ultimate handheld breakfast option - I always request to add a few strips of bacon), the Belgian Waffles, and the Chocolate Chip muffin (tastes to me like breakfast birthday cake).

Jerry, Cindy, and Shelly are fantastic people - kind, attentive, passionate, and committed to their craft and community. So glad to be back in the area knowing Bert’s is here for me to now share with my kids. Call ahead for your takeout order and remember it’s cash-only.

Great breakfast spot! Would highly recommend giving this establishment a try. It is call ahead and carryout only, but well worth it. There is a reason they have been around for over 30years!

Drive up window was blocked by another vehicle the entire time they waited for their order, thus keeping us from placing our order and pulling off to the side, which is the common sense thing to do.

There are other options in the area where you can actually sit down and eat your breakfast. This place is drive up only and people don't understand that they should place their order, and pull off to the side and wait for it to be brought out to them.

Won't waste our time again.

The friendliest encounter we’ve ever had at the drive thru window. We love supporting local businesses and this one in particular was a treat. The food is amazing and all cooked to order. Bring your imaginations because if they have the ingredients the sky’s the limit.

Cindy took my order, and she was the nicest lady in the world! I ordered steak, hash browns, country gravy, lemonade, and a Belgian waffle for under $20. You are able to call ahead and pick your food up, but my order was taken at the window. They do not have dine-in yet, but they will eventually. I waited twenty minutes to pick it up, and Cindy called right away as it got ready. She was also super thorough and made sure I received everything I asked for :>D

One small thing, just that my steak medallions were a little well done, but that's really it.

Please do not sleep on Bert's Breakfast Korner, ladies and gentlemen.

I can't say enough great things about this little gem of a place. I love eating here. The atmosphere is so cozy, the staff (family owned) are extremely friendly and inviting and don't even get me started on the food. Absolutely delicious! 5 stars without a doubt.
