This place is not called China Express anymore, it’s a completely different business name and cuisine and they have not updated the sign on the building let alone their website. I called to order takeout, thinking I was ordering Chinese, specifically sesame chicken and fried rice. I get there and after a little wait the woman there brought out my food which looked completely like something I have never had resemble sesame chicken and rice… I asked her what it was to which she said sesame chicken but I said I ordered Chinese. The only signifier they have at this shop, that it’s a new restaurant is the menu on the checkout counter and tables. Nothing else. I politely told the woman, no thank you but that’s not what I intended to order (as I was under the impression I was ordering Chinese from a Chinese restaurant) and also asked why none of their info is accurate. She got an attitude with me and rolled her eyes, to which I apologized again and left. I had never even eaten at china express before and was eager to try it to get my Chinese food fix and if I knew that this restaurant was under new ownership or something completely different, maybe I would have been open to trying it but unfortunately the woman and her attitude left a sour taste in my mouth.

Best place around especially for the price! I’ve lived in Waterford Pontiac area for years and every Chinese place has gone down hill except here. Love it and has become our go to Chinese spot!

I had the worst Chinese food experience here last night. I am paying for it today. The ABC was raw, undercooked, and cold in the middle. Very disgusting, I don’t recommend this spot anymore. To rushed, low quality food, I could be sick now.

Dried-out rice and greasy Almond Boneless Chicken.Substandard food is served here.The egg rolls are below average-as well.Don’t waste your time.There are much better restaurants out there.
China Express is hands down one of the best spots around! The service is always fast, friendly, and welcoming—you can tell they really care about their customers. The food is consistently fresh, hot, and full of flavor. Every dish tastes like it’s made with care, and the portions are generous for the price.

Very tasty Chinese food, which is hard to find for some reason. Ordered sweet and sour chicken with fried rice. Chicken was crisp and both the chicken and rice were well seasoned.
To the owners or management - please clean out the light covers on the ceiling. Thanks!
