We went for mother's Day brunch and it was so tasty! very gorgeous atmosphere as well, I'd go back again.
The place is beautiful. Friendly staff. We didn't think the food and price were worthy of each other. I think that we will try again in the summer.

The service we got from Josh. The other day was deplorable. He was very rude and full of himself. Classic bartender, main character personality. Every guest should be treated with respect, regardless of the color of their skin. Especially during Black History Month.

I was told it was an "off-night" by the couple we were there with. I must say I had an issue when I first entered the door reading a sign that read "3% surcharge to any credit cards". This is a nice restaurant, who has that kinda cash on them? From there we enjoyed the waiter as he told us the story of the restaurant and how it functions. Very impressive until we received our meal. Our meat was hard and very chewey and since it's ala carte the potatoes we ordered with it...I wish I could comment on but we never received them. Maybe it was the arrogance from the 3% sign but this restaurant was nothing special.

Very cool place and the service was good. Sadly, the food was mediocre to plain bad. Our starter was decent, the main dishes were pretty bad, and the desert was good.

One word for tonight’s experience: luscious! Fall-inspired cocktails, bone marrow on pumpernickel toast with greens, grilled pork chop with apple slaw, honeynut squash fettuccine with pickled mushrooms, brussels sprouts with pancetta & blue cheese, and my favorite - mushroom risotto. I loved the variety of layers in each dish. You can combine different components within each dish and get a new delicious bite. Friendly and knowledgeable server (Crystal), beautiful restaurant and grounds. I highly recommend and look forward to returning.
Incredible atmosphere with mindful staff that cares for each dining experience from start to finish. Lisa runs a top notch operation!

I am vegan/vegetarian so I ordered the recommended sweet potato dish; I loved everyone of the mushrooms it's garnished with pine nuts too.
My friend let me taste her bone marrow and it was the best I ever had.
I would like to come back in summer to see the garden.
I do recommend adding more delicious vegan options; at least a fresh vegetable medley stir fry or roasted. House made vegetable burger, zucchini patties, greens in garlic with wild mushrooms garnish, ...
I did notice the sharables but I would prefer to order a vegetable medley instead of cauliflower or just one type? ...how about a sampler veggie bowl featuring a trio from your sharable vegetables already on the menu?
If not, then I'll just order the candied squash entree again.
I'll be back.

I had the pleasure of dining at the Sylvan Table and I was blown away. The service, the food, and the overall experience were all phenomenal.
Kevin, our server, was incredible. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. He made sure that we had everything we needed and that our dining experience was enjoyable.
The food was also outstanding. The pork chop was perfectly cooked and juicy. The beef was tender and flavorful. The bread service was amazing, and the bone marrow was delicious.
The wine list is extensive and well-chosen. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and service.
The restaurant's history is also fascinating, originally being a barn from Maine shipped here with the shipping containers still used on the property.
Overall, I had an incredible experience at the Sylvan Table. It is a must-visit restaurant if you are ever in Sylvan Lake, Michigan.
I hope this review helps you to make a decision about whether or not to visit the Sylvan Table. If you do, I think you will be very impressed.
