Great tea selection & fairly good food i would recommend going when you have time you wont be disappointed.I take my grandmother here a couple times a year & she loves it the food is good but the tea is what you want it’s a nice spot to just relax & talk to whoever you went with it’s a high recommendation.

Good, homemade food. Soups, salads and sandwiches are all good. Great local place for lunch. Very popular among the locals.

Husband and I took our 4 year old granddaughter here on a date. What fun! It opened at 11:00 and when we arrived at 11:15 we took the last booth available. That's how popular this place is. Not just for ladies either. There were just as many men eating lunch, even outdoor working men in work clothes. They know GOOD FOOD! An amazing list of tea options, and they even provided a child size teacup and saucer for our Evelyn. Due to food allergies, we had to bring food for her but the establishment didn't mind at all. Our menu choices were very good, great atmosphere and the staff is friendly, attentive and helpful. It's nice that a Michigan small town has a quality restaurant like this.

Omgosh this is the cutest & best place to eat . My first time in Michigan visiting with my sister and this is where she took me . I loved the people and the food . You need to go there if you live there and haven't been or if your visiting ♥️♥️♥️

Amazing, quaint place with delicious scones and food. My sister loves this kind of stuff so we took her there for her birthday brunch and sampled a lot. Our favorite part was the scones. We also ordered what's shown in the pic (cottage pie, sandwich/fruit plate, ploughmans plate) and it was all delicious! We tried 3 teas, the best was the English style teas

Unique places like this put me in the mood to splurge and that's what I did! I mean, if I'm going to try a new place known for certain items I might better try them! Having tea was a must here. For $3 you get your own personal tea pot with your choice of loose tea and a beautiful tea cup. I understand all the tea cups are donated which is super cool! Be forewarned, there are so many flavors of tea you may want to study the menu ahead of time. And you may need a lesson in the proper way to pour your tea (like my friend and I did). For my lunch I chose the special of the day which was a ham and Swiss sandwich on a sweet bread. Such a mix of unique flavors that hit the spot. Their sandwiches come with soup but I wanted to try the coleslaw and you can get it instead of the soup. If you like coleslaw, this one is a must try! The other thing that is a must have is their salted caramel cake. I don't believe it's offered everyday, but I highly suggest if it is! Before you go be sure to check out the gift shop in the front of the place. Or stop to get some loose tea for home. I really enjoyed my visit here and would go back if in the area.

I've lived local for many years and always wanted to come here and its everything I thought it would be. Its charming and lovely and the food is delicious. I had the oolong tea which was delicious but there are many to choose from. The cups are all different and I love that. I had the sandwich of the day minus onion and philly tomato soup and was quite pleased. I had cinnamon scones for dessert and it was perfect without being too sweet. I will be back for the mushroom brie bisque which sounds amazing to me.

Had a lovely lunch here after biking the Kiwanis trail. Wonderful sandwiches, soups, salads and desserts -- excellent, fresh food and very friendly service. Charming setting in Tecumseh's lively little downtown. Highly recommend -- we are looking forward to a return visit soon!

The Rea shop is always an adorable spot for lunch, but I also have to recommend their catering services. We used them for a recent bridal shower and it was superb! Delicious food (quiches, wraps, apple slaw, profiteroles, and more) and excellent service and communication running up to the event. I would definitely use them again!

The place is quaint. But before the pandemic of covid 19. They used to have more items to browse on the floor. Now not as much neat little treasure's to find. Now it's more geared towards a restaurant. Still quaint, but not as much fun to browse anymore.

We come to this wonderful tea house every time we come to Tecumseh. The selection of teas that they serve is amazing, so much to choose from. The food is wonderful. We had the assorted tea sandwiches which was very good. The sandwiches had unique fillings like cucumber and cream cheese, chicken salad, meat & cheese, etc. surrounded by apple slices, orange slices and grapes. The apple cole slaw is also delicious. We have never had anything we didn't like. Due to the pandemic they are at half capacity. They will gladly take your name and you can shop nearby. They will call you when your table opens up. Very convenient. They also have a nice shop full of all things tea and more. Do not miss this restaurant!
