About Pentamere Winery
Pentamere Winery Reviews
After an internet search, we took a chance and stopped by this unique winery on our way back to our hotel. A wise, lucky decision. Tara and Ed were exceptional and took our group of 5 out of our comfort zone to expose us to an amazing pairing experience with cheese, dips, and fruit. We enjoyed the wine and learning about their perspective on wine making. We'll definitely go back.

Pentamere Winery is a unique wine tasting destination that offers a variety of experiences. Visitors can enjoy $1 and $2 wine tastings, led by friendly hosts who provide informative explanations about the wines and their pairings. The winery, built in the 1870s, offers a fascinating glimpse into the wine-making process. In addition to wine, Pentamere also sells specialty olive oils, fancy snacks, and memorabilia. The wines are named after ships that have sailed in the Great Lakes. The welcoming atmosphere and value-for-money offerings make it a place that visitors look forward to returning to. Guests often find that the staff go above and beyond, offering homemade pairings and helping to find wines that suit their tastes, whether dry or sweet. The experience is memorable, with many enjoying tasting and shopping, and some even volunteering to help bottle wine. The owner and staff take time to explain how wines are made and paired, making it a great spot for both wine enthusiasts and those new to wine. Overall, Pentamere Winery provides a friendly, informative, and enjoyable wine experience for everyone.
