We visited this winery for a tasting of what they had to offer. The tastings were curated by Ed, whom is the ultimate authority on their wines. A perfect early afternoon. Don't miss stopping in here when in the area. 5-stars all the way. Thank you Ed.
OMG! Ed is a Rockstar! He is kind, incredibly knowledgeable. They also sell DELICIOUS sauces, jams, flavored olive oils, balsamic vinegars, and tons of cute nick nacks. Highly recommend!
Great selection of wine styles in a cool setting. Aside from wine, they also have other cool stuff. You won't be disappointed here.
Went in for wine tasting. Server was so friendly. They let me bring in my small dog in a carrier.
Today my sister and I did the wine paring and it was the best. They always go above and beyond. They are extremely friendly, they get to know you and what you like. I would highly recommend them.
Owner was wonderful to talk to and very informative about wines and dips to pair it with. Great atmosphere too.
If you do or dont enjoy wine, stop here. Do some tasting. They will find your liking. Everything was so good. From Dry to sweet. They have homemade pairings for their wines! The cheese and dressings are great. Just stop in and hangout. You won't regret it.
I just love to come taste testing and shopping here, I've even volunteered before and helped bottle wine. Dan is the coolest ?? and Go Blue!
If your a wine connoisseur this has to be on your list of wines to try.
I do have to say this is the best winery I have been to. The gentleman took time to explain how they make their wines and how to pair them. He was so informative. I am a sweet red wine drinker. He explained dry wines to me and said trust me, you need to try this dry wine Aura and I did. Well I bought my first bottle of dry wine. It was like no dry wine I have ever tasted!! If you are looking for a great experience and taste some amazing wine you definitely have to stop in here
I come here often. Always a delight. Wonderful wines but also oils and balsamic. They have spreads and stuff too that are very good. I love Ed, I always have a delightful chat. Keep up the good work making Techumseh the place to go!

Amazing wines and even better staff! Ed was an absolute joy! Walked us through each wine and what it paired with. The sample food was amazing as well!
Wine was good but the guy acted like we put him out when we asked for a paid tasting. Very unfriendly and rude made us feel like we were bothering him won't be back
Today we brought family in because we had a GREAT experience the first time we were there with the winemaker as our guide. This time we had Ed who was less than friendly! We were left with the impression that we didn't know wine and were beneath him! Big time second thoughts if we return!
My wife and I enjoyed wine tasting with Ed (business manager) and Dan (winemaker) on 13 Feb 24. We enjoyed several of the $2 tastings, as well as several $1 tastings. We purchased two bottles of wine. Ed was very accommodating, giving us great information about the wines we tasted. Dan then took us to the basement of the property, built in the 1870s, to show us where the wine is processed. It is interesting that the wines are named after ships that have sailed in the Great Lakes. We had a great time visiting this winery!
I did not even get a receipt yesterday. I felt your hostess gave more attention to a couple sitting next to me, I wanted to fix the tip I gave her...but your system was down, I will be call Discover tomorrow to see what I can do. You can also have your wine back as well. No happy.
