Today I had the brisket platter, and it was solid. The fat on the brisket was rendered beautifully—sweet, with just the right amount of sear for that perfect touch of crisp. The main portion of the meat fell apart effortlessly, and the overall presentation of the platter looked great.
Big ol piece of cornbread and you’ve absolutely nailed the mac and cheese—spot on. Same goes for the creamy mashed potatoes—just excellent.

As someone who tries the local BBQ everywhere they go, I’d put this up against any that I’ve had. Including Grand Champions like Big Bob Gibson or Tuffy Stone. On our only trip in so far, I had the wings, cheesy potato casserole, baked beans, cornbread and nanner pudding for dessert. My wife had that sammich, mac & cheese and peach cobbler. Just tried this place out for the first time today and I must say by far the best bbq in this area. So much flavor and soul put into these dishes I will definitely be back. Keep up the great work!
