We ordered and the waiter brought me bad food then the owner came over and was being very disrespectful and rude after we told him what we had wrong with our food then he took the plates and told us to not come back

Came in to grab a bite to eat on our way to shop in Kalamazoo we like to support loçal small business and we always tip very well. We have never felt so unwelcome I asked the waitress how she was when we walked in she just stared at me we weren't sure if we needed to pick our seats or not so we decided on a table the waitress had 3 menus in her hand and in stead of offering one or saying anything she walked to the kitchen and we sat down no one greeted us or even spoke a word to us so once we sat down I asked my sister if she wanted to leave and she agreed so we walked out. She felt very unwelcome as well.

Plain little diner with good food. Pattie melt, French dip and dinner salad with chicken were all great!

Not sure why all the hype about this place. I had scrambled eggs with biscuits and gravy. I asked for the eggs to be scrambled "soft". They were way overcooked and not soft at all. The biscuits and gravy were pretty institutional. They had very little sausage and the gravy was thin and watered down. Prices were good though. They don't have a lot of competition in the area, maybe that is why everyone talks about them.
