Two Sundays in March I had breakfast. I ordered eggs over medium & they came out with the whites still uncooked & the yolk ran all over my plate. Second time I ordered a cheese omelet. . It tasted like all the grease from the grill was mixed in it & the cheese (American) wasn’t even melted. Your cook should be more concerned with quality & not how fast he can get the food out. Turn down the heat on the grill! I’m done! Never go back!

Had the Jimmy's Special. Definitely one of the better breakfasts I've ever had at a restaurant.
Update: been a second time and got the meat-lovers skillet and I'd go as far as to say it was better than the Jimmy's Special. Red Star is probably now my favorite breakfast place in the area and I've tried lots of places. I enjoy sitting here and reading while eating and having coffee. Busy joint, and people obviously are in on the secret.

It's bigger than it looks. Don't worry if parking looks full. The storefront isn't big, but seating goes way back. Menu is bigger than it looks, too. It's packed with a big variety. You'll have too many options. Make a plan. Take a tour of the dessert case. You guessed it. Bigger selection than it looks. Bring your hollow leg. Enjoy the feast. Cheers.

Excellent food AND big portions. Service was excellent.
I purchased my grandson a cheeseburger kids meal.The burger looked like someone had tore a quarter of it off of the burger. I called and was told that had to keep the Wait to the correct size. This was reduckuless. They did nothing about it did not care. The burger was also very over done. Things at this restaurant definitely have changed used to be very good.

Great little place with a very large menu. I got a club sandwich and fries, was absolutely perfect! Great price, excellent taste served fresh hot and fast. Also a very wide variety on that menu but I was feeling basic. Server was wonderful and friendly and the price was perfect. Definitely will be stopping in next time I'm out that way.
