This year round resort is perfect because it has many amenities such as a pool, golf, restaurants, zip lining, ski lift, etc. it is a short drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes and rivers. We rented a condo which overlooked the golf course. It is perfect for families or a romantic getaway for couples.

Beautiful resort. Stayed in great townhome that had 5 bedrooms and four baths with pool table and was on golf course. Resort store was well stocked so you could easily get items for meals. Their Thistle restaurant was excellent Very pleasant stay. Highly recommend.

Great place to get away. The accomodations were extremely nice and clean. Their two golf courses were in great shape and the service everywhere there was fanominal. Everything is right there. You never have to leave until you check out.

We stayed at Crystal Mountain's Pinehurst Studio and were incredibly disappointed. The room was tiny, the desk chair was broken, and the efficiency kitchen consisted of a microwave, mini-fridge, and chest of drawers with random kitchen gear. When I told the front desk that an efficiency kitchen should have a sink, they said they considered the bathroom sink to be part of the efficiency kitchen.

Fun stay for business conference. I can see how this would be a nice get away place in winter. The rooms were amazing in the main building. The gift shop had food, drink, wine and more. All the meals were good with excellent service. Frankfort is a short drive too. Nice little lakeside town. Hope to be back soon.

So beautiful! The staff couldn’t be friendlier and accommodating. The mountain is well maintained and super perfect for beginners! The hotel and common areas are clean and cozy. The restaurants and shops are close and easily walkable! Couldn’t be happier with our experience!

The resort is breathtaking. The amenities were outstanding as well as the service provided by staff. We attended a conference and the facilities for that was great too. The Thistle pub and restaurant on site was exceptional as well. 5 Star.

Visited this weekend with 2 couples and 4 kids (ages 10-5). Our Wintergreen condo was clean and updated. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The location was so close to the slopes, the hot tub, the market! We didn’t have to walk far for any activities. Ski school was 10/10! The instructors were so hands on and provided skill appropriate lessons for our little ones. They definitely made progress and are more confident skiers after 2 mornings of ski school. Great place for newbies to explore the sport. The resort is big enough for young skiers to not get bored and also easy to map out and maneuver. This was our second trip and we are planning a return! Also felt like every where at the resort was well staffed and I had nothing but pleasant interactions with staff.

Best and biggest experience we have had in our four family ski trips. We came in late morning on a Sunday and left late afternoon on a Wednesday. We called ahead on the drive and requested an early check-in, which was given. It didn't appear that the resort was very busy so everything went very smoothly and lines were fairly short. We stayed in The Hamlet and only saw a handful of other families there. Our room was plenty big and served its purpose well as a rest/sleeping area with space for a small blowup mattress on the floor for our fifth person. The location made getting on and off the slopes very convenient as there are lockers outside to store skis and poles and you could ski directly into the locker area. The main lift (Clipper) was 150 feet from the lockers. We rented all our gear so it was a bit pricey but we knew that going in. All food on the resort also hit the pocket book hard. We had pizza from the resort once and ate lunch at The Lodge twice. It was good and convenient but you paid for it. There are a few food options off site and we ate at one twice for dinner. The other happened to be closed that night for a private party. The skiing was very good but we would have liked to have access to more slopes. Only about 1/3 were open the week before Christmas so that was a bummer. There weren't many other activity options open yet so we were on the slopes from open to close with just a lunch break each day. We covered all open slopes many times so more variety would have been great the last two days. We had decided to cut the trip short a day and are glad we did for that reason. I could see advanced skiers getting bored sooner with that limited number of runs.

We were so excited to get a dog friendly room right at the peak of fall colors! The room is a little dated but very clean. You get passes to take the chairlift the the top of the mountain! Restaurant was good also So………Their was a outside wedding going on right under our window. (yeiks!). I kept on looking at the clock waiting for the music to stop. Pack your earplugs. That being said the charming resort is a friendly walkable experience. The spa was worth the money and gift shops are worth a stop and shop.

So disappointed. The staff were so rude and unhelpful all over the resort. From the pool, to concessions, to the restaurants and shops. Food was poor quality and very overpriced. And attractions were not open as advertised. Ski instructors were very friendly and friendly though.
