Tonight, we had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. We ordered a chicken finger basket, two side salads and a BYO medium-well burger. Unfortunately, the burger arrived medium-rare, despite our request for medium well. We informed our waitress, and at our request she took the burger away, and promptly sent the manager.
The manager tried to justify the undercooked burger by claiming that’s how they cook their medium-well burgers, but she insisted that the burger was cooked properly and didn’t have any pink center. I checked the burger myself prior to the waitress taking it away, and it was oozing blood juice, closer to red than pink.
The manager challenged me and insisted she would go get the burger. When she returned, we checked and it was mostly red and pink in the center.
It’s unfortunate because we usually enjoy this restaurant.

Just as the name suggests, they have the friendliest staff & clientele. The food was delicious, service was very quick & it was a fun/clean atmosphere. While we were there, we spoke to one of the owners and she was absolutely delightful too! We will definitely return whenever we are in Jones, and reccommend to everyone

I called in and ordered 2-fish dinners to go...It was hot, a good size portion, and was ready fast. My boyfriend said he wishes he would have got another side with it as well. As you could only get 1. I got the tater tots with mine, and he got a side salad. It was not a very big side salad at all. Other than the side issue, we had no complaints at all. I believe we paid $26.00 + Tip for both meals. So that was a very fair price for the food we got. Will definitely come back, and also would recommend for others to try!

The Friendly Grill and Tavern lives up to its name and then some! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles and a cozy, hometown vibe that makes you feel right at home. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive — you can tell they genuinely care about their guests.
The food is classic comfort with a touch of flair. I had the Big Ass Bloody and it was perfection. Everything came out great and full of flavor. Their drink selection is great, and the prices are more than fair.
Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this place is a must-visit. Great food, cold drinks, and that small-town hospitality that’s getting harder to find. Can’t wait to come back!

We came on a busy Saturday evening. Within the first couple minutes the staff here got our large party of 9 settled fast. There wasn't much room and they made it for us. Within minutes later, we had drinks. The food was amazing, the staff was amazing. What more is there to stay. We will be returning!

This was my first time there and was with a larger group. The service was great. The place was clean and comfortable. It is a local grill and tavern which I like but may not be for everyone. My loaded tots were good and prepared well. Other posts complained of soggy tots but that was not my experience. The fish basket was a disappointment. Fish was tough and the breading didn’t have a lot of taste. The other meals at our table looked better so I think I will try something different next time. Maybe a burger.

Onion rings were so saturated in oil. Could not eat them. Tater tots tasted like they were sitting for a while. Fish had no seasoning and not cooked well.

This is our local bar and only restaurant in the general area. It's dated but very neat and clean. Their staff has always been welcoming, pleasant and helpful. Service is efficient. Prices are average. I love their turkey wraps. They occasionally have live bands.
Vegetarian options: There is definitely not a vegetarian menu but there may be a few foods for selection.
