Went in with my husband for a meal and we didn’t get to eat together… I ordered a medium rare steak. It came out well done so I sent it back. They brought me back my cold lump of mashed potatoes to enjoy while I waited for another overcooked steak. By that time, my husband’s food was gone, and I was ready to go. I just had the most amazing 16 oz Ribeye! Unbelievable how good it was. Fast and smiling service, I can't ask for more.
Was seated last Friday. Waited for over 20 minutes for waiter/tress. No one ever came to table, even through 4 staff members stood around at waitress desk chit chatting and scrolling on phones… several waitresses walked by, looked at our table but said nothing didnt offer anything….
Better fire them and start off fresh w people who will work

Hank's Tavern on the River is worth the drive! The grilled chicken with homemade mashed potatoes and unique mac n cheese are must-tries. Service is excellent, and the deep-fried mushrooms are the best. A clean restaurant with friendly staff, it's now a favorite spot for many. The patio overlooking the river offers a great atmosphere, and gluten-free options are available. The monster plate of nachos and great beers are crowd-pleasers, with TVs showing a good mix of games. Weekend nights may have a wait, but the service remains great. The big salad with steak is enough to get you full, and the cod basket with crisp fries is really good. The staff worked together well, even when it was busy, and the drinks are robust. This is one of the spots where you're immediately comfortable as soon as you walk in.
