If you are near the area, don't miss this place. What a great restaurant/bar. Cool old building (check out the tin ceiling), staff was as friendly as could be (shout out to Regan and Sarah). The Trenary Tavern is the quintessential UP bar with friendly locals, great Michigan beer, excellent service, and entertaining conversations.
Try the chicken wings if you need a snack; they are delicious.
