The time has come to shut it down. No dine in and the carry out is complete slop. My how the once glorious "Hawaiian I" has fallen.

They only do takeout now, but I go there for the fried rice so that's not a problem for me, their food is good, although when I went for my birthday with my mom ,daughter, and grandmother three of them ordered shrimp stir fry and we were told it's 2.00 extra to get four extra shrimp so she ordered eight extra in each one when we gpt home each only had four anf they were very small, i know times are hard but please for the love of god dont be so frugal that you resort to counting each shrimp in your meals, it's not a good look. But other than that good place.

This was once the best place downriver for Chinese food. When Covid hit they went Carry Out only and haven't been the same since. No more hot tea with your meal. No more hot soup. Now after your car ride home most dishes will be warm at best. The food is still good but we eat it much less oftenwithout the done in experience.

Pains me to leave this review. Used to eat here 2x-3x a week. Since new ownership and the scamdemic I tried multiple times. The carry out is always soggy tasteless trash. Soon they'll be out of business.

Not sure what happened to this place, used to be one of our favorite places, well lesson learned $34 and some change and our meals were terrible. It said hot ?️ on the menu seriously it had zero taste! I love some heat! I give this place 0 stars!

Still an awesome Chinese take-out. (No inside dining yet). Willing to work with you for special requests. Generous portions, reasonable prices and very nice people working here. My only go-to fix downriver for great Chinese food. Can get busy.

Order quart of wonton soup - broth was ok but 3 wonton and no sprouts in it and barley any greens! Had egg rolls a few month ago and were almost burn plus a after taste of old oil. Use to be my go to place but since new owners came in , it has went down hill.

Why is this place called Hawaiian Islands when there is nothing on the menu that is Hawaiian? Wow really using the name out of context smh. Should be

Stopped in for a quick takeout meal on the way to a soccer game. Service was quick and efficient. Food was bland with no sauce, leaking everywhere. I got the house Lomein. ZERO flavor. Plain ramen noodles, unseasoned meat and the chicken water leaked everywhere causing the bottom of the container to fall out. My husband got the seafood sensation. Again, zero flavor, no sauce, a few pieces of seafood and huge pieces of green peppers and onion to make it look as if there was a large portion. The egg rolls were okay. The crab ragoons were more pastry than filing, but we’ve had worse. However, the sauce with the ragoons was absolutely disgusting, it seriously tasted like vinegar dyed with red dye. Cost $40 and now we have to stop somewhere after the game to eat.
