Came in on Sunday and got seated right away they did have some live music going. Service was perfect and everyone was very nice. The Drinks were probably the highlight of our visit. They were creative and delicious! The fish frys were okay at best they could have been seasoned more, the crinkle fries however were perfectly seasoned and cooked...the tar tar sauce is homemade which was nice and the pretzels for an app were perfectly cooked, not a fan of the PB&J dip however. They did have an issue with hornets as we had to get rid of 5 and they kept coming back. Overall not a terrible pub and look forward to checking it out on a nice summer day as the outdoor area looks very promising.
Parking: There is free parking off the street right in front of the establishment and behind the Establishment is a free lot shared with other establishments
Wheelchair accessibility: There are handicap spaces available and ramps for those in need.

Decided to stop in after a walk through the park. Serviced and seated right away. Food was just okay, burger was not offered to be cooked to liking and fish fry dinner needed to be fried longer and the breading was soft. Fries are really good. This place has alot of potential due to the awesome scene, great vibe, and a well structured menu, the kitchen needs work though.

I recently visited Rivertown Tavern in Taylor, Michigan, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment we walked in, the service was extremely slow. It took a considerable amount of time before anyone even acknowledged our presence or took our order.
When our food finally arrived, it was clear that the quality was lacking. The dishes were poorly prepared, lacking flavor and freshness. The drinks were no better, with cocktails that tasted watered down and lacked any real appeal.
Moreover, the staff displayed a noticeable attitude, which only added to the unpleasant experience. Simple requests were met with eye rolls and curt responses, making us feel unwelcome and unappreciated as customers.
Overall, I would not recommend Rivertown Tavern. The combination of slow service, poor food and drinks, and the unfriendly attitude of the staff made for a disappointing dining experience.

When I asked the server about our food she stated "Your food is probably up but I can't check because I'm too busy making drinks right now". At that point I was out of there. If that is how you treat your customers I won't be back!!!
