Very disappointed that I drove 30 miles to go this awful unsanitary restaurant for Lobster Palooza. The event was in a tent. None of the food was hot including the lobster Bisque. The soup ladle was just all clumped up laying on a saucer. Flies and bees were swarming in and off uncovered food. They had a bunch of inexperienced teens trying to serve and only attempted to cover the food when I mentioned it. I saw staff out fresh shrimp and chips out of the bag and I ate 4 of them and some spinach dip. When I saw them bring the new hot food and mix with the food that had flies all over it I was done and ready to leave. I told the cashier the situation and she just said I am sorry. I didn't feel talking to managers because they are.likely to know this was happening. I wasted $42.00 and my afternoon.

Another fantastic experience! I've used another account to review in the past (9 months ago), but this was another experience that exceeded expectations so I didn't want to just update as I have before. Aiden was a breath of fresh air. Truly very kind, attentive, honest in his opinions, and helpful. We really enjoyed talking to him (and Kate!) while we were here.
Aiden initially met us at the host stand and was very attentive; he greeted us and then quickly cleaned off a table on the patio. In the short time we were waiting, a very nice young lady with blond hair also greeted us. Once we were seated, Aiden offered us drinks and appetizers, and then checked on the bread for our table. I inquired about the fall drink menu rollout - Aiden spoke to Kate to ask when Truago was planning to switch to the fall drink menu. While it's not quite ready to be advertised yet, she came out to greet us and told me she had what she needed to make me one (okay, two 😋) of her phenomenal Pumpkin Pie martinis. 🥰🍸🎃 (I'm not a huge drinker but I love martinis, and I've been thinking about the Pumpkin Pie martini since the temperature started dropping.)
For an appetizer, we ordered the spinach artichoke dip and LOVED it with the seasoned chips. The bread came out a little before the spinach dip and was fresh, hot, and so tasty - just like it has been in my 3 other experiences I've had here.
I ordered the steak bites and a side of mac and cheese (again) because I'm a creature of habit - the steak bites were tender and the sauce was very flavorful, exactly as I remembered. The pita bread was the perfect compliment for dipping. The mac and cheese was creamy and such a comfort. My boyfriend offered me a bite of his Philly Cheesesteak and he almost didn't get it back - I also stole a few seasoned fries and those were very tasty.
What else can I say? It's been 9 months since my first visit and Truago holds true as my favorite local restaurant. 😊

Lobster fest this week the Connecticut lobster roll was delicious I really enjoyed the roll they stuffed the lobster into with butter! My son had 2 lobster tails both delicious we had the food to go! The food did not stink up the house like when you bring red lobster food home. So that should be the sign to let you know they are buying quality fish at this location!

I've been wanting to try them for a while now. It's a beautiful restaurant. I feel the food maybe could been better for the price. My steak was a little over done, but it was still tender and tasted good. My sons chicken seemed overcooked as well. There were 2 flies inside that we kept having to shoo away. I also felt our table was too close the the booth next to us. The seats are odd, kind of comfy but if you sit back it feels too reclined... and you wont fit if you are bigger. I dont mean to complain so much, but things I feel need to be noted.

My boyfriend and I ate there last night. Best lobster roll I’ve had in forever. Lots of lobster (w/o a ton of filler) and he loved his salmon. Our server Landon was very attentive and nice. Great Restaurant!

The food can be good. Not at all worth the price, but it has been decent food on occasion. The service however is why this place deserves a negative rating. To say the staff is rude would be a vast improvement. Zero knowledge of allergy safety. Zero competence to not serve drinks with broken glass. Zero manners to call someone a fat karen for not wanting to drink out of a broken glass. Zero management. Every time has been worse than the last. It's hard to support local with garbage like this.

Want to give a review for Chloe S. I came in with my grandparents and niece along with my 2 children, 3yrs. old and 8 weeks old. She sat us outside under the awning and was a great experience. Showed the kids a lot of attention and made sure we were all taken care of coming out and checking on us consistently. BTW the food was great!
