So let me start by saying I grew up in the amble area, so I'm used to this area. I was scouting out some places for a motorcycle poker run and knew this place has been popular in the past so I stop by. It was a Monday evening about 630. Anyway, I ordered a beer looked around, place look clean, the tables matched the floors with the new floating floor style gray in color overall it was good. Here's the interesting thing there was a blonde girl who was wearing shorts and had tattoos around her legs that showed as if she had pistols in a belt. I don't know if she was the owner or not but she sure acted like it. There was a couple locals that came in and out I went to pay I gave her a five dollar bill. The beer was only three dollars which was great but then she says do you want me to keep the change and I thought sure I'll give you a 66% tip. Needless to say we won't be stopping there on our poker run and I doubt I'll be stopping there again which is too bad because the food menu looked pretty good actually. But the 66% tip I can't get by. But hey, let's face it. This place is changed hands more than anyone can count so I imagine it will be a new ownership soon.

First time ordering from this establishment....even though I've lived less than 5 miles away for years.Man I've been missing out! Burgers AMAZING. Both my daughter my wife and extra to the dogs were all found to be greatness had by all involved. Pretty sure weve found our new spot.Cannot say enough great thing....WOW
We love Trufant Tavern. Food is delicious. Whether you get a burger, their special subs or a salad; you won't be disappointed. Plus the service is top notch.

We stopped on Sunday for late lunch and it was excellent! Had fish,shrimp,and chicken bacon ranch sub! All good and left for 35$ w tip

Great food and friendly people. What more could you ask? Newly remodeled the place looks great on the inside. The outside still looks like an old small town "watering hole" The drinks are good without being over poured.
