Chef Ben at Osaka Japanese Steakhouse for dinner and had a fantastic experience. Our chef, Ben, was incredibly entertaining and skilled, making the teppanyaki preparation a fun and interactive show. The food was delicious, with fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked meats. Highly recommend for a special occasion or a fun night out!

To be honest I went here with the expectation this would be like other Japanese restaurants. We were disappointed the food is not as good as other similar places. To top it off while I'd argue the chefs are more entertaining the wait staff isn't as good. I would spend the time to go to another place if possible.

April 2024. Went for sushi. Service wasn't great, waiter tried to remember our order but came back to clarify several times. Appetizer never showed up but was charged on the bill. We got the "sushi for two". Rolls were poor quality. The rice with the nigiri was not prepared well and fell apart when trying to eat. The flavor and texture of the fish was also not the greatest. Drinks were on the more expensive side for a basic well cocktail. And the whole meal was rather expensive to boot. For maybe 2/3 of the price it would have been an OK experience but overall it was very underwhelming. There are much better sushi places nearby

We were handed lunch menus when we sat down at 2pm on a Sunday. We ordered from the menu based upon the lunch pricing (or so we thought). We got our bill that was dinner pricing! We didn’t get soup or salad, just small chirashi bowls for 32 dollars each! We spoke to the manager and she basically told us sorry I don’t know what to tell you. She refused to take anything off the bill even though we didn’t even get soup/salad and we were given lunch menus on the first place.

Hibachi is really loud and overstimulating and I don't like that I had to ask for yum yum sauce but they wanted to charge when I'd asked for it at the table. It's an automatic 18% gratuity so beware of that! And I would like to mention it was 150 for 3 people. The food was yummy though. Also squeezed really tight in at a table where I struggled to eat.

Best hibachi around!! I've been coming here for years, and honestly nothing beats Osaka. The atmosphere, service, entertainment of the talented hibachi chefs, and of course the food, but the HUGE portions will leave you happy that you have leftovers (pro tip- ask your chef for extra garlic butter to take home). I love that your entree comes with veggies, rice, and noodles, as well as they're delicious miso soup and ginger salad. Their scallops are big, flavorful, and the best I've had. When I have a day off, I also like to come in for their lunch special, which are generous portions for a lunch price.
